I shuffled around on the hard ground. Boy, what I would give for a bed right now. Getting pricked in the back with wood chips that matted the playground was not fun, and I would guess that anyone would say the same.

I've been trying to drift to sleep for what feels like an hour now. Maybe it hasn't been that long.. but then again, it might've been longer. Everyone else is asleep now. I shifted my eyes towards Dray. His back was turned away from me, making me eager to see his stunning face again. I closed my eyes, this evening's events recapping in my mind. After Tristan's..um, 'incident', we all sat and talked about it.

There wasn't much to talk about though, if you think about it. But then again, we did establish that we can't go home... Home meant being separated, and that just wouldn't do. So here we were, on a chilly fall night, sleeping under the stars.

We were lucky it wasn't raining because, well, we would've been royally screwed.

I heaved a sigh, opening my eyes once again. Thats it, I just couldn't fall asleep.

"You awake, too?" I shifted my eyes to the smooth voice coming from the coating of darkness that swept over my vision. In the frigid night shadows I saw the figure of Dray twist his head over his shoulder, his eyes blazing blue out of the darkness. A truly beautiful sight.

"Yeah.." I whispered, trying not to wake the others, but apparantly he thought my soft tone was for other reasons. I heard him let out a soft chuckle.

"And so the leader seems to be the shy one, huh? Thats a new idea..." he trailed off. Confusion sifted over my features.

"Leader? You.. You think I'm the leader?" I asked, truly stunned.

"Of course. Did you see the way they were asking you the questions when that other kid almost got hit with that arrow? They relied on you.... um... Whats your name again?" he asked with a curious tone to his playful voice. A small grin twitched at the corners of my lips.

"Robin."

"Robin... thats a pretty name..." I heard him mumble. For a little while, we sat in silence before he concluded, "Goodnight, Robin."

"Goodnight... Dray."

There was silence. Silence meant sleep, and sleep meant strength.

I was flying peacefully through the air. My dreams were always peaceful, I've never had a bad dream in my life. My eyes closed, arms spread wide, I soared through the clouds as a flock of birds rose up next to me.

The nearest one, one with a large, round body and scrawny neck began squealing, "Wake Up! Wake Up! Wake Up! Wake Up!" The bird chanted this over and over until I couldn't stand it anymore, and my eyelids fluttered open. What a sight to wake up to, looking up into Dray's two beautiful blue pools.

"Mornin'." he murmured with a smirk. He rose from his spot crouched next to me, and I noticed how tall he was compared to me. And how awake he seemed. I, on the other hand, was out of it. Thats what I get for being up half the night counting cricket noises.

"Morning," I grunted, rubbing my eyes with the back of my hand. Tristan frowned at me.

"Somebody's not a morning person," he inquired with a snicker. I threw a pebble at him with a grin. He just laughed and stalked off.

Sitting up, I was greeted with the cheeky girl's friendly eyes and a bright red apple. Yes, Emma, that was her name. Just the sight of the apple she was holding made me drool. I hadn't eaten anything since yesterday afternoon. I quickly snatched the apple off her palm, munching into it immediately.

"Shank you!" I gasped, indulging in the sweet fruit. She raised an eyebrow.

"I really hope you meant 'thank'," she said playfully, taking a mocking step backwards. I just laughed and ate the apple right down to the core. A little while later, after everyone was awake and had eaten an apple or two from the yard of a little old man that lived a little ways down the road, everyone casually sat around.

"So what do we do now?" Willow finally asked. I looked at her with an amused expression. She was usually so quiet and timid, so seeing her exasperated and with her hands on her hips was a little bit funny.

"Walk?" Emma proposed.

"Where exactly are we supposed to walk to?" I questioned, as she answered me with a shrug.

I heaved a sigh, "Well, guys, we have to think! Its not like ideas are going to fall out of the sky!" I blurted out.

And just like that, a little piece of white paper fluttered down from the heavens.
