Two days had passed by quickly, Rosalie suddenly found herself walking through the dungeons with Dimitri. He was still wounded, but they had taken the stitches out. The doctor didn't know if the scars will stay or not, but Dimitri kept saying he didn't want them to stay.Looking at his back she frowned, scars decorated his skin, scattered across like shards of a broken glass. She softly traced over them, at first Dimitri was tense, but he had relaxed after a while. There were a few wounds that were still a little bloody, but they were healing.
Dimitri had a little food the day before, but after that he kept saying he wasn't hungry. He would then lay there and stare at the wall, his eyes glazed over with thought. Rosalie was concerned about him, she could feel his pain through their bond, but she had no idea what it was from.
He's damaged, but she silently prayed he wasn't beyond repair. She loved him, yes, he had hurt her, but she still loved him. She knew that she had a long way to go before she would solve the mystery that is Dimitri Black.
They stopped at the first cell, sitting in the one corner was a female. Her hair was matted, but under the grime she could tell the woman had blond hair. Her brown eyes looked at her and Dimitri with regret, guilt, and fear.
Rosalie felt a little guilty for liking the fear and guilt she saw, but she didn't care. Her eyes darkened a little at the thought of this woman hurting her mate. She clasped her hands together and stepped back as Dimitri walked closer.
"Are you enjoying your stay?" Dimitri asked.
The woman gulped, "N-no."
"Do you understand why I had you punished?"
"Y-yes, Alpha."
"Why?"
"I betrayed you, I had watched them attack you and hadn't done anything. I enjoyed it." She said, her voice becoming a mere whisper.
Dimitri nodded, "Now, why did you? I never did anything to you, if anything, I had protected you since the day you were born."
She looked down in shame as the truth of Dimitri's statement sunk into her. "I...my father was joining in, so I thought it was the right thing to do. He said you deserved it, that you had injured our Luna."
Rosalie frowned and walked forward, she shook her head. "He didn't injure me."
The woman looked at her, "I'm sorry."
Rosalie studied the girl's face and sighed, she could see the honesty and sincere regret in her eyes. Dimitri looked at his mate, waiting for her decision.
Rosalie walked up to the girl and knelt before her. She smiled softly at her, "You're free to go. I can tell you're telling the truth. However, you do have two choices."
The girl nodded.
"For betraying your alpha you can either stay in the pack and be an omega for two weeks or become rogue."
The girl didn't hesitate to answer, "I'll be an omega for two weeks."
Rosalie nodded, "You know our rules for Omegas. The pack is forbidden to bully them or hurt them in any way, so no need to worry about that. You have to train four times a week. Also, you are to clean the packhouse on your assigned days. Other than that, you're free to do whatever."
The girl nodded, "Thank you, Alpha and Luna."
Rosalie stood up and stood to the side as Dimitri called two guards in. They walked in and unlocked the girl, they then carefully pulled her to her feet.
