September 2, 2011, Friday                      Moving In

Thirteen and a half year old Connie Chala was alone in her room. She just moved to a bigger house when she gets to have her own room. It was amazing since it has been five years since she had her own room. The house they moved into was big enough. It had three bedrooms, two bathrooms, one study, two living rooms, one kitchen, one dining room, one laundry room and a garage. This was all on two floors.

Everyone was done unpacking the boxes and moving trucks and now was settling in. Connie’s room was themed purple and white. She had a white oak desk with a purple laptop on it and a purple framed black and white photo of her and her best friends Sheyenne Witts and Red Cumbalde and her boyfriend Frankie Marx and his friend Dannie Rowe. Connie, Frankie, Sheyenne, Red and Dannie had their arms around each other and Frankie had his lips planted on her cheek. A feathery chair with wheels sat in front of this. A large HD flat screen was above her desk. A large photo of purple flowers was on the wall.

She had two walk in closets. One was filled with Hollister, Forever 21, Abercrombie and Aeropostale tops and low waist skinny jeans. She also had Victoria’s Secret’s PINK sweats and shorts. In her other closet she had all of her shoes.

Her shoes where 4 pairs of Uggs, tall black and grey and short chestnut and sand colors. 5 pairs of heels, 2 3 inch black and white, 2 2 inch black and white and 1 1 inch grey. She had 11 Converse. She had black, grey, white, yellow, orange, brown, red, pink, purple, blue and green. The yellow, pink, green, blue and orange where knee high ones. She has 4 skater shoes. 2 were blue and pink by DC and 2 were purple and black by Vans. She had 20 ballet flats, 4 where grey, 6 where brown, 5 where white and the other 5 where black she had 15 slip ons, 7 where grey 5 where beige and 3 where black. She had 30 flip-flops of basically any color you can imagine. She has two pairs of COACH shoes, both two different styles. She had her cheerleading shoes, soccer cleats and jogging shoes. She had 94 pairs of shoes.

Next to her closets was a white vanity, when you opened it up, it has a huge mirror and three drawers. The top one had all of her bathing suits, the second one had under stuff and the third one had silk mini dresses and fluffy shorts for pajamas. On the top of the drawer there were twenty-five (maybe more) perfumes, all different scents, from Victoria’s Secret and Bath and Body Works.

On the other wall, she had all of her sport uniforms hanging on a different hook, the first on was her cheerleading uniform. It was blue and white, a mini skirt and a cheer top. A bow to put in her hair and tall socks that says POLAND on one sock and BULLDOGS on the other sock. The hook next to it was her soccer uniform. It was a blue tee with the word SOCCER LEAGE on it. It said CHALA and the number 12 on the back. Black shorts and tall blue socks with her shin guards. The next hook was Cross Country. It was blue shorts with a white tee that said POLAND C C. The last hook was her basketball uniform. It was black and blue basketball shorts with a white tee that said POLAND BASKETBALL and on the back it said CONNIE C with the number 8. She loved sports.

She then had a white bunk bed. The bottom part in stead of a bed was a 2 seater white sofa and a white; polka dotted purple bookshelf that had the Twilight series, Gossip Girl series, Secrets of my Hollywood Life series, The Clique Series, and Vampire Diaries series. On top of her book shelf was a 1 foot tall stack of magazines. Next to the bunk was a door leading to her bathroom.

She had an end table with a photo of her in her Cheerleading, Soccer, Cross Country and Basketball teams. Also of her and Frankie at the 7th grade dance together. It was a slow dance and Red took a picture of them holding hands and smiling happily and calmly at each other. She liked this picture because she realized he is really short. He is short, up to her mouth, has short black hair, dark brown eyes, glasses and a smile that drove her nuts because it was so cute.

She slept on the top bunk. It has a white oak shelf with a tiny mirror and lamp. The sheets where all white but the pillows and blankets where all different shades of purple. On the wall she has a sheet a paper with her sport schedule:

Connie was so beautiful. Every boy in the school thought she was “hot”, and envied Frankie. All of the girls followed her around so they can be friends with a “popular girl.” Connie was 5’4” and had mid back length auburn hair that was very curly. Her hair was super shiny. Her eyes stood out so brightly, they where green. She had a thin face, long eyelashes, perfect skin (no zits) and soft pink lips. She was big chested, a size D-cup and gets annoyed when boys in the hallway snap her bra strap. She always was tan, even in the winter. She has no idea how. In the summer she is always a beautiful caramel color. She was in good shape too, with all the sports she is in.

Connie looked in the mirror. Her hair was on a bun on the top of her head; her makeup was the usual, black eyeliner on bottom and top lids, blue eye shadow, light pink blush, lip-gloss and mascara. She wore a red forever 21 tee with skinny jeans. She wore her red converse. She was officially done with everything, helping her family unpack, finding where to put her photos and other stuff like that. She wiped her forehead with the back of her hand. She called Frankie.

“Hello?” she finally heard his voice after 4 rings. “Hi.” “Are you done packing?” “Yup.” “That’s cool… you sound tired.” “I am,” She sighed. “I’ve been up since seven unpacking.” “Damn, girl.” “I know right?” “You are never this quiet. You are usually loud.” “Ha, thanks.” She rolled her eyes. She is snappy when she is tired. “No I mean you are hilarious, you are the life of the party…” “I know, I know.” He was silent. “Do you want to ride you bike over here or something?” “Sure!” He sounded happier. “I will be there in like 5 or 10.” “Mkay…” She looked at her French manicured nails. They were chipped from opening a million boxes. “I love you, bye.” “Love you.” She hung up.

In the mean time she wrote in her diary.

She didn’t put ditzy stuff like “EHMIGAWD I MET THE HAWTTEST GUY..” or stuff like that. She wrote:

Dear, me.

I am tired as hell. I have basketball practice later but I might skip it. I skipped cc. I have so many shoesJ I found my coach shoes that I lost. Im pretty happy, I thought that would be 75 bucks down the drain. My brother’s closet is the exact opposite of mine. He literally just threw everything in it. Wtf, David. Right now I am having Frankie come over. It has been two weeks becuz he went on vaca. We r gunna hang then im going to take a nap. 2morro I might have Shey and Red over too. That will be fun. I think I saw Frankie pull in my drive way. Byee.

9/2/11

The door bell rang. She jumped. First of all, the doorbell is a thousand times louder than the one back at her old out. Second of all, its not “ding-dong” its “DING!!”.

She went downstairs to find her brother, David, opening the door. “Hey, little man.” That’s what David always called Frankie for being so small. “Hey, big guy.” He smiled. She smiled just to see him smile. They did this little handshake thing when they give each other a high five then fist bump. She is guessing that it is just a boy thing.
