Apollo's POV
After I flashed to Olympus, I quietly sat on my throne not minding the stares of my fellow Olympians.
" Very well. Looks like everyone is present. Now we may begin." My drama queen of a father boomed.
The meeting went by smoothly. Athena arguing with Poseidon. Ares and Hephaestus with Aphrodite. Hera with Zeus about Thalia. Dionysus sleeping while his magazine is still open. Artemis grumbling about the male gender. Hermes with his phone about 'stupid packages'. While I am floating or staring into nothing less thinking about the child who sang earlier. Finally I was brought back yo reality when my stepmother, Hera (SURPRISE!!) notice my silent behavior since the meeting started.
" Apollo, why are you so quiet lately?"
"N-Nothing lady Hera. I was just thinking about something." Shoot!! Now they knoe I'm lying.
"Hmmp.. More like thinking about a lady and love and romance. Yuck!!!" Artemis, my big sister snorted. And as much I hate to admit it. She is the older twin in our sibling relationship. But after we left Delphi. She became more distant from me. COLDER than before. It breaks my heart knowing that I will never get back the old big sister when we were kids.
"Apollo I demand to know why are you not arguing with Artemis? You seem to lost out there." My father said with a worried look. Wait, worried? Huh... You can't see that everyday. I never really thought that he cared for us. For his children.
"( sigh ) Father, earlier this morning i saw a kid no more than 7 alone in the streets------" i began my story until I was rudely interrupted by my step mom.
"Whatttt!!!! What kind of a mother leave he child alone! A disgrace for being a mother. Not caring for your child. She should be punished! What a horrible mother she was!"she ranted.
"Just like you." Hephaestus grunted.
The throne room was silent. No one made a sound. You can even hear a pin dropping in the floor. Most likely Aphrodite's earrings.
"What? you know it's true. After you saw me as an ugly, crippled, and imperfect baby. You THREW me away" Hephaestus yelled at his mother.
"Look I thought we were over this Hephaestus. I'm sorry I threw you of Olympus. The past is past can we just forgive and forget?" Hera said. Surprising most of the gods and goddesses here.
Who wouldn't? HERA as in H-E-R-A. Queen of Olympus the most prideful goddess was crying and begging for forgiveness. Wow! You can't see that everyday. It must be a miracle!!
"Well, why don't Apollo continue his story. And we will stop these dramatic nonsense?" Uncle P suggested after Hera composed her posture.
"O-okay. As I was saying the kid was singing and because I'm the god of music. I was fascinated by his voice in a melancholy tune. Singing the song with much sorrow as if he can relate to it." I said continuing my story.
"Would you skip to the climax already?!!!" Dionysus demanded.
"Y-y-you were listening?" Athena stuttered.
"What do teenagers say these days? Ah yes. 'Duh'. It's called multi-tasking. And I was bored." Dionysus growled backed. Athena flushed gold while motioning me to continue.
"As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted AGAIN" I used much fore to the word 'Again' stating that if anyone tries to interrupt me I will kill you all the way to Tartarus and back.
"Turns out when I look at his aura. His was mixed with 14 different colors representing each Olympian." After I said that all of them gasped.
"W-wait does this kid has messy jet black hair? With sea green eyes? That looks handsome for such a young age?" I'll let you guessed who said that.
"Yup" I said popping the 'p'
"Ughhh I think I might have given my blessing to an infant 5 years ago." My father Zeus replied. His head down in shame.
"Same here." By this time all heads turn to a shadowy figure in the corner of the throne room.
"H-hades?" Uncle P stuttered out. Who I just noticed was looking paler than he usually looked. And was gripping the arm rest of his throne like his life depends on it.
"No I'm Iris" uncle Hades replied sarcastically.
"Yes brother. After seeing the boy's mother drifted to my realm I'm quite sad to learn how the man tortured her child. So I gave the child my blessing."
"Hades!!! What are you doing here?!" My father boomed at my gloomy uncle.
"Oh please stop with the THUNDERING Zeus. We all know that you ate the YOUNGEST Among the six of us Older Olympians." He said popping the word YOUNGEST. Father flushed a golden red color before thundering again.
"What is your purpose Hades?"
"Oh nothing. I just wanted to inform you that a great prophecy is coming. And there is a strange stirring in the pit." He said with his gloomy aura and emotionless voice.
"W-what?" Artemis stuttered.
"Do I have to repeat myself dear Niece?" He said obviously annoyed with my sister.
"N-n-no Uncle Hades."
"Good well I must be going then Don't want any escapee in my realm." And he flashed away leaving the rest of us still in shocked of the news he brought.
