Maddie was walking down her stairs to wait for the bus for school one morning. Wearing a red beret, her hair in loose curls, and her book in her hand she was all set for her first day back to highschool. Her mom had already left, gave her some advise, and bided farewell. All of this in preparation for the day ahead, but nothing could prepare her for what was to come.
