The Tuesday Before

It was the week of the school talent show. Taelor felt more confident then ever, but she was still uneasy about it. Chloe was always telling taelor she was great. Chloe was sure they'd win. It was Tuesday morning. The show was on Friday night. On the morning announcements they told the whole school to come out. The music and art  teachers said they'd even give bonus points for coming to the show. This ensured half the school would come. Plus all the parents and friends. A thousand people were sure to show up. It was a fundraiser for the school . Of course they would promote it. The only people at school taelor was for sure wouldn't come was the football team. They had a game Friday night. All the buzz made taelor more nervous. She was starting to feel nauseous. Chloe had her back. She had to make it through the rest of the week. Unlike everyone else taelor told no one about it. Of course another reason for this was she lived only with her dad. Her mom lived in Iowa. She never visited. On the other hand Taelor's dad always worked. He wasn't home often during the day. Never on the weekends and at night get came home late. Her dad didn't constantly work. He had one day off a week which he used to sleep late. Chloe was the only person taelor really had. She didn't have a boyfriend or any other friends. Taelor's seemed to be more scared by this show by the second. She was ready singing wise but not performing wise.  Taelor's struggled to make it through Tuesday without crying at school. Chloe help a good deal though. The day was finally over. She walked out to her car. On the way she was stopped by Ryan. He wanted to talk to her about the show.
"Hey taelor. I heard your performing in the talent show. "Ryan said casually . "Yea. "Taelor's replied shyly. She planned to kill Chloe now.
"That's cool . I can't wait to watch . I'm sure you'll do great  ." He Saud smiling at her. Taelor had a crush on  Ryan . So when he smiled at her she blushed. Taelor's blushing wasn't subtle. Her whole face turned a bright red when she blushed.
"Umm... Thanks Ryan." She replied trying to hide her blush. It didn't work though.
"No problem. I got to go though see you later taelor. "  Ryan said . Then he turned away and walked towards his car. Taelor's turned to get in her car when she heard someone screaming her name. She quickly turned back around to see Chloe running to her.
"Oh my gosh ! Taelor ! Wee u just talking to Ryan? " an excited chloe said.  She had a huge smile on her face.
"Chloe shut up. It's not that big of a deal." Taelor said back. She was a little annoyed by Chloe attracting attention to her.
"Not that big of a deal ? Tae you've had a crush on him since ninth grade. What were you two talking about anyways?"
"The talent show. Somehow he found out I was performing." Taelor's said accusing Chloe.
"Oh. right. I might have told him  , but I didn't think about it when I told him. I'm so sorry Tae. "Chloe apologized .
"It's cool c. Yes apparently coming to watch me now though. "
"Seriously? To watch you? That's awesome taelor." Chloe said more excited then me.
"Chloe are you insane. My crush coming to watch me perform. I'm already nervous. "Taelor said. She was a little more nervous now. Actually a lot more   . How come Chloe didn't understand? Taelor just assumed that it was because Chloe wasn't nervous. Chloe didn't have stage fright like taelor. She would just try to forget about it. She offered Chloe a ride home. Chloe took the offer. She didn't want to ride the bus. On the way to Chloe's house , Taelor apologized to Chloe. She hasn't meant to be so harsh.
