Chap.10

*Dawson P.O.V*

"What is going on here!?!?!" I was so angry, Erin and Cameron were walking to us holding hands, smiling and laughing. "Cameron asked me out and I said yes!" Just then another one of these guys stormed out the room and Cameron followed him. "Why, Erin how could you?!?!" I suddenly saw Erin starting to tear up because I think she wasn't telling everyone something but I was going to figure it out. "Why do you care Dawson It's not like you were going to ask me out?!?!?" She was right but I still loved her but I couldn't tell her, Meadow would kill me if I liked Erin or tried to date her. "You're right about one thing, I wasn't going to but I will tell you something if you want to go and chat in private it would be better!!!" She actually followed me and I think she knows something about me loving her. "Ok I came, what do you want to tell me?" I was getting more nervous than I ever have in my whole life and all because of my sister's best friend what is wrong with me. "You're right I wasn't going to ask you out but I still love you and I will wait for my chance again even if it takes forever, I will wait!" I was starting to get confused when she started smiling and stopped crying a little.

*Erin P.O.V*

He actually likes me but he waited too long to tell me but I still like him too and I have to tell him. "Why are you smiling and why did you stop crying??" I realized I was smiling and I did stop crying and I was also confused on the inside with Cameron and Hayes, now Dawson the guy who is like my brother for my whole life. "I'm smiling because I love you too and I always have but I thought you didn't feel the same way but now you're telling me and it's a little late since I'm going on a date with Cameron, I'm really sorry Dawson!" Just then he said ok and walked off to the group. We all went back to our rooms and went to sleep because I'm pretty sure it was a long day for all of us.

*In the Morning*

*Meadow P.O.V*

We woke up Erin seemed a little sad and hurt. "Hey, Erin can I talk to you?" "Yeah sure." She sounded like she knew what I was going talk to her about. "Why do you look so sad, Peaches?" "It's a long story." How much stuff could make her this sad and it all started after Dawson talked to her, I mean she likes him I know that. Wait this could have something to do about Dawson, what did they say to each other. "Sweetie, is this about you liking Dawson?" Right after I said that she started crying. "OMG, what did you guys talk about?!?!" "Meadow, he likes me and it's too late now!" How could this have happened, he always said he never liked her like that it doesn't make sense. "I'm gonna go next door and see if Cameron and Hayes showed up last night." "Ok, but don't say anything to or about Dawson." "Ok, bye." I walked next door and when I knocked, Dawson answered. "Hey Meadow what's up?" He seemed sad too but more than Erin and it made no sense. "Hey I just wanted to see if Cameron and Hayes showed up last night." "Yeah, but Hayes seemed mad at Cameron and I think it's because he likes Erin too." "Yeah and I need to have a word with you for a second." I realized I was a little harsh when Dawson backed up and had a look of guilt on his face. "Dawson, why now why wait until now!" " I don't know what you're talking about ." "Well a little crying Erin next door seems to know otherwise!" I knew there was a reason she didn't want me to talk to him and I knew I was about to find out why. " I waited so long because I knew you were going to be mad and I just told her because seeing her with Cameron killed me inside!" "No, I'm not mad but she already has to deal with Cameron and Hayes, now You!''

*Cameron P.O.V*

Dawson and Meadow were yelling at each other now and you could hear it through the door but you couldn't hear what they were saying so I went and sat at the door because I knew it had to be about Erin.

'' Dawson like I said you're kind of making this hard on her and I don't know if she could tell Cameron what just happened without dying inside." Wait tell me what, what the heck is going on. "Meadow I know that's why I feel guilty about this but you shouldn't worry about it, you need to worry about your date with Shawn." "Well if I don't worry about who will?'' ''I'll tell Cameron about this whole situation myself he should understand considering how long she's liked me." No, not another one it's already bad enough I have to compete with Hayes now I have to compete with the guy Erin has know for her whole life. "You're right I have to worry about Shawn you deal with this because I have a date tonight." "Bye Meadow go get ready and have fun let me take care of everything.'' ''Ok but when do you expect to talk to Cameron?'' "I'll go in and talk to him right now." "Ok bye see you later." Well there's no point in telling me that, I already know. I quickly moved away from the door, and sat down on my bed, so Dawson didn't know I was eavesdropping.

*Dawson's P.O.V.*

I went and knocked on the guy's door and Cameron opened it. "Hey, Cameron can I talk to you for a second?" ''Sure" He closed the door and stepped into the hallway. ''I already know what you're going to say, but I'm okay with it and if Erin has some unresolved feelings I will give her time to deal with them, and I hope it won't be awkward between us.'' ''Thanks I respect you letting her contemplate her feelings and not rushing her into anything.'' ''No problem, I'm gonna go take a shower now, I guess I'll see you later.'' ''Cool, I'll see you later.''
