*Jamie on the Left Justin on the Right*
Jamie POV
'Come on Jamie, we're going to be late to homeroom.' Justin exclaimed as we left the sports field from soccer training. 'Don't worry we still have' I said as I checked my watch 'oh no'. 'Are we already late?' Justin asks as we both are running down the hallway.
I nod my head and I slipped on a puddle of water. Why wasn't there a warning sign. I then glanced behind me and saw that there was one. Justin and I was cracking up.
We are definitely late to Homeroom. This has 2 weeks detention written all over it. You are probably wondering why 2 weeks for being late just once but the truth is this wasn't once. It has been a week.
Yesterday, was our last warning. Lets just hope that the teacher won't notice. As Justin and I walk in the class the teacher didn't notice. She was simply too busy to look at us as she was having a conversation with the principal.
As I sat on my chair, I looked up and Lauren was looking at me with a face like she was going to burst out laughing. I smirked at her and winked.
Her eyes were gorgeous and I just wanted her to be mine. I really want her to know that I still have feelings for her because when we broke up, I told her that I didn't have feelings towards her anymore because she was going to live with her father for a year but then the truth was I didn't like long distance relationships because of this other girl I used to date, Alexis.
Alexis had to go on a trip with her dad for 2 years. So I waited for her but then she posted a photo on Instagram of her and another guy Jordan and she was kissing him. I promised myself from that day on to never have a long distance relationship again.
Homeroom finished and it was first period. It was the third week back from school and we had a free period. 'SWEET' Teresa squealed. Teresa is Lauren's best girl friend. Judging that I am her best friend.
Whenever we have free periods, Lauren and I go to the balcony and hang for awhile, while we talk about our life and how it's going.
'I think I am going to tell her how I feel.' I say to Justin as he glances at me and a smirk appears on his face. 'Finally, what took you so long. You should've told her the first day back' Justin said as his smirk became got bigger.
'Well, you didn't ask Emily out' I return the smirk to him. And Justin changed the smirk to a grin 'Ay, not to loud. You're the only person who knows' 'Alright, alright I know' I reply before changing the subject. 'What if she doesn't feel the same way about me?'
'If she doesn't then who cares you guys will still be best friends.' Justin said while giving me a friendly smile. I sigh 'it might wreck our friendship, don't you think?'
Before Justin could answer, I heard a familiar voice interrupt. I glanced behind me, and saw Lauren 'wreck whose friendship?' she asks. 'What are you doing here?' Justin questions with a smirk on his face looking at her and back at me.
'I was waiting for Jamie to come because I thought we were going to go to the balcony together like we do with every free period' she answers. 'I will just leave you two alone' Justin chuckling.
Lauren asks me 'Are we still going to the balcony?' 'Yep, I was about to come up but Justin wanted to talk' I reply. She nods as we both walk up the stairs. 'I want to tell you something' she said. 'Me too' I reply.
Just when I was about to tell her, I saw this other guy standing where Lauren and I usually stand. 'Do you want me to tell him to leave?' I ask her. 'No, I brought him here' She replies. My mouth dropped.
