Carter:
"Hey, are you going to Kevin's place later?" James asks me."I don't know, maybe. I might just hang out at home for a couple hours." I reply hitting the birdie with my racket.
"Aw, come on Carter. You've mopped around at home all year. Get out of the house for a night. It's not going to kill you." Kevin says in a pleading manor.
"Fine, but only for one night. I reply, trying to get the idea of a party out of my mind. I have never been a huge fan of Kevin so I hope his idiot jock friends aren't there.
"Good. You've been a huge couch potatoe lately." He says laughing midway.
I laugh, " You take that back!" I say jokingly.
We walk out of the gym and head towards our lockers.
"So, when are you gonna get a girlfriend? You haven't dated once in 17 years. You may as while give it a try." States Kevin.
"I'm wiring for the right girl. I want someone I know will actually care about me, and why did you bring this up?" I ask.
"Because... Stacy Black is coming right this way." He says as I turn around.
Stacy has a raging look on her face that makes me shiver. Stacy has always had some anger management issues. I had never liked her that much.
"Kevin Andrews!" She shouts glaring at my friend. "Why did you tell the whole school have diarrhea?! I most certainly do not and don't appreciate you saying that!"
I walk away slowly letting Kevin fight for himself. I'm not getting into that argument.
