PLOT

Ritsuka Tachibana is your ordinary out of the ordinary high school girl who attends Shikou Academy. Little do her classmates know that she attends vocal school after class everyday and is currently the recently famous Rising Star, Rikka Hanazono.

No one knows of Ritsuka's secret double life except for her family and her best friend Azuna as she struggles to balance her everyday life as a student and a pop star. Until one day, her secret was found out by none other than the Student Council President ,Rem Kaginuki, a person both feared and admired by the student body.

But wait, Ritsuka wasn't the only one whose secret was revealed, turns out ,The president was also living a secret life of his own, and he's none other than the famous Shoujo novelist, Reiko Maeda, whose works are well known to be described as 'the book of a maiden's heart'.

Having found out each other's secrets through an encounter by chance, they formed a pact to assist one another in keeping their secrets from the prying eyes of their classmates and the school itself.

CHARACTERS

Ritsuka Tachibana : A second year high school student at Shikou Academy. Is considered to be the most ordinary girl at school as her classmates often forgot her name or that she ever existed. Is secretly everyone's favourite new rising star Rikka Hanazono. Goes to vocal school everyday after class for training. Is probably the only girl who isn't intimidated nor attracted to the Student council President . Best Friends with Azuna Kuzuha. Lives with both her mother Maria and cousin, Lindo. A big fan of Reiko Maeda's (Rem) works

Rem Kaginuki: The student council president of Shikou Academy. A second year student. Is in the same class as Ritsuka. Stern and strict as a student council president, is actually the famous shoujo novelist ,Reiko Maeda. He is both feared and admired by the student body due to him having a no nonsense attitude around his peers and an attractive appearance.  Due to this, he hardly has anyone he calls a friend and has a fan club instead (much to his annoyance) . He's usually busy scribbling in his notebook or reading ,and almost never leaves his seat during lunch time. A lone wolf. In truth, he's a guy that is extremely shy around people and doesn't really know how to express his feelings well, leading him to have a passion for writing books as writing expresses his inner most desires. Childhood friends with Urie Sogami, Ritsuka's Senpai in Vocal school and the son of the school's director. Lives alone in an apartment due to him not being on good terms with his father. Doesn't admit it but is actually a huge fan of Rikka Hanazono. Hates Shiitakes. Owns a pet Pomeranian named Roen.

Lindo Tachibana: Ritsuka's older brother, was studying abroad in London but came back to find his younger sister already a Rising star . Is actually Ritsuka's cousin but both were raised as siblings. Is very protective of Ritsuka. Loves doing house chores. Owns his own little book store near the Tachibana Residence.

Azuna Kuzuha: Ritsuka's best friend and only friend at school. Is different classes with Ritsuka. Cares for Ritsuka a lot to the point of almost being called her second 'mother'. Knows about Ritsuka being a pop star but doesn't tell her. Has a small crush on Lindo. Doesn't find Reiko Maeda's works all that interesting like how Ritsuka does.

Urie Sogami: Rem's Childhood friend/ best friend. Is the son of the director of Ritsuka's vocal school and Ritsuka's Senior despite being the same age. Attends home school and has a care free but at the same time flirty personality. Often likes to tease Rem. Knows of Rem's secret life as a Shoujo novelist.Likes to claim that 'Reiko Maeda' is his girlfriend just to further get on Rem's nerves. In truth, he cares about his friend's well being knowing that he is not on good terms with his father.

Maria Tachibana: Ritsuka's mother and Lindo's aunt. Works as a magazine translator. Is a wise and beautiful woman. Has countless admirers but turns them all down due to not accepting the fact that her husband walked out on her and still believes that she would see him one day. Has a loving and caring relationship with her children. Knows of Ritsuka being a pop star and is really supportive of her daughter. Is the one that gave Ritsuka an idea for her stage name.
