I looked over at the shadows on the walls and scowled fiercely. "Jubilee?" I called out, looking around. I rubbed my forearms, and my breath came out in smoke. "Jubilee, where are you?" I repeated, whispering for some reason I couldn't fathom. My bare feet were cold against the icy floor, and I cursed myself for wearing nothing but a sun dress.

"Jubilee?"

A sudden blue light hit me, and I shielded my eyes away. Either way, I was blinded. I screamed, feeling the light consume me in an extremely cold embrace. What was happening?

Fifteen year old Tallulah Sophronia has never had a normal life. For some reason, she has powers. From empathy to agility, you name it, she has it. And for some reason that she hates admitting- she was being a blabber-mouth in Kindergarten- everyone knows about them. She's been one of the most popular people at school for it, which she always hated. Like, seriously, why would someone want to be popular for something as trivial- well, not so trivial- as powers?

When the twins Anthony and Ashton Corra move to New York City and attend Tandoori Academy, Tallulah immediately notices something different about them- especially Ashton, who always seems to be looking at her with disdain. When her sixteenth birthday rolls over, all hell breaks loose. Finally, the twins tell her what she really is: a Product made by the Quarternaries.

Of course, Tallulah is suspicious, but nonetheless Anthony and Ashton take her under their wing. When her time to prove herself comes to focus, will she take the chance, or will she fold under pressure?
