Once upon a time, in a land where everything prospered, there lived a King and Queen in a most beautiful kingdom. They showered their kingdom with endless love and their love for each other knew no bounds.

Wealthy the people were in every possible way. Rain poured at the right time aiding farmers. Money flowed easily. Everyone was honest and loyal to themselves and their kingdom. Cities grew, showing their lifestyle. People were content as they were.

Birds loved migrating to the grand, majestic lakes in the country to spend their holidays. Animals lived a happy, peaceful life as they weren't hunted for food and unconditional love and happiness ruled their kingdom. Everyone was harmonious in their reign.

But unfortunately, the King and Queen were disheartened as they had no child to carry on their lineage. Their longing for a child increased with each passing day. They prayed to God, asking him to bless them with a baby.

Finally, their prayers were answered and after a long wait, the Queen was expecting. The King was overjoyed, celebrating for the unborn child. The Kingdom rejoiced, welcoming their Prince or Princess wholeheartedly. Decorated houses and blissful faces were everywhere to be seen.

A month before the baby was due, the Queen fell ill. Not even the best of doctors could diagnose her malady. The King sent out his subjects afar to find someone who could cure her, but there was no one to aid them. With each day, the aura of the once radiant Queen faded and the King prayed to every possible god asking for a solution.

At last, beautiful baby girl was born with blue eyes.

Glowing eyes and golden curls decorated her soft baby skin, and when she cried it was the most sweet sound in the entire world. Surely, even gods would be stunned by her eternal beauty.

Unfortunately, the Queen passed away giving birth to this charming princess. Everyone mourned the death, but at the same time welcomed their princess with open arms. They were more than happy to greet their beloved princess and introduce her to this world.

The King, who loved his wife so much, couldn't get over her death, and instead blamed the child for it. His heart, which once brimmed with love, was now filled with hatred for the innocent child. He hated his daughter so much that he never once took her in his hands nor swept a glance at her.

The princess grew estranged under the maid's care. She had nobody to care for her as her father was not interested in lifting her on his shoulders to show her the world like every other father would do for their beloved daughter. As for mother's love, she never knew how her mother looked like to even love her. She had no one to talk to and no one to play with. Loneliness grew along with the princess.

Weeks crawled, hours strolled, minutes walked and seconds fled and every passing moment seemed to beautify her eternally. She had the most engaging and mesmerising cerulean eyes and flawless skin. Her beauty stunned everyone, but as for the King, he was too busy to even care. In fact, the King even forgot that he had a daughter. He was too busy fighting battles and conquering kingdoms and had no time to think of his daughter.
