Chapter 2:A Place To Stay With Mahado

Mahado's P.O.V.

After leaving the throne room with Seth, I went to the priests chambers to show him where he'll be staying while he was at the palace. The room that he would be staying in was right next to mine. So if he needed anything he could come to me.

I opened the door to his room and explained. "This is the room that you will be staying in as you stay in the palace. It's right next to mine so that if you need anything, you could come talk to me."

Seth's P.O.V

Mahado showed me my room and I was happy to hear that my room was right next to his. 'I get to talk to him before and after work. Hell, I can even talk to him before, during, and after bedtime too.' After thinking this, Seth asked a question. "So I can talk to you if I have any trouble or anything?" He asked Mahado, who nodded in response. "Yes, you can ask for help if you need anything." Mahado answered.

I wanted to glomp him. But since we weren't alone, I decided to hold myself together. Until I decided it was a good time to glomp him. But since now wasn't a good time, I decided to wait. Maybe I could glomp him before the day ends.

Mahado must have known about what I was thinking, because he asked me a question. "Do you want me to help you get settled in so you feel right at home on your first day here?" He asked me as I looked down to see I was still holding my luggage. I nodded and replied. "Sure, I mean, I don't see why not." Taking that as a yes, he went over to my door and closed it. I looked at him with a questioning look. "I thought you would like to have some privacy so people don't get any ideas about what your room would look like when it's filled up." Mahado explained after coming back towards me.

I smiled. Since now seemed like a good time to glomp him, I did. Mahado was taken aback for a bit before realizing what I was doing. He chuckled and hugged me back.

Mahado's P.O.V.

After I explained about the door being closed, he smiled. Then he glomped me. I was taken aback in surprise. After getting over the surprise attack, I chuckled and hugged him back. After being like that for five minutes or more, he let go of me. It kinda made me sad that he let go. I haven't had that happen to me in ages. It felt like Atem had just hugged me and didn't want to let go until he was told too.

Meanwhile ~

Adnakin's P.O.V.

After Mahado and Seth left the throne room, I snuck after them, being quiet as well. When they arrived to Seth's room, I listened in on their conversation. Mahado was explaining things to Seth and Seth seemed to be getting happy for some strange reason. Mahado then asked him if he wanted to get settled in on his first day, and Seth was more than happy to reply with a yes.

After he said that, Mahado went over to the door and closed it. He then explained to Seth why he closed it. When Mahado closed it, he left it open just a teeny tiny bit so I could still see them. After Mahado was done explaining, Seth smiled and glomped him. Mahado was taking aback in surprise because of it. He should be! But after a minute or two, Mahado returned the gesture back.

They stayed like that for 5 minutes or more until Seth let go. Mahado looked kinda upset about letting go though. 'I wonder why Mahado looks so upset about letting go of Seth when he glomped him. I'll probably ask him about it later or something.' After thinking this, I turned my attention back to both of them. Seth started to unpack his things while Mahado helped him. Mahado would sometimes ask where Seth wanted certain things to go and Seth told him where to put the item. After a few minutes, they had everything unpacked and put into places that they belonged.

I watched them talk about their childhood and other things. I stayed silent and watched them.

In Seth's New Room ~

Mahado's P.O.V.

After helping Seth get his things unpacked and put into their proper places, we both sat on his bed and talked about what we did while growing up. Seth told me about his childhood. He told me about how his father left him at the age of five. How his village burned down and how his mother died. How he saved a girl from slave traders. How he grew up on the streets without a grown up to watch him. How he managed to be a part of the Prince's court. His life reminded me of my own in some strange way.

After he told me about his life, I took a deep breath and looked him in the eyes so he would understand. "If I tell you about my life, promise me that it will stay between the two of us. What I'm gonna tell you about myself will in some way change your view of me. And for that, I don't want anyone else to know. You are the first person that will know my true life story. Do we have a deal?" I told him as I held out my hand. Seth hesitated for a moment before shaking my hand. "Deal." And with that, I began to explain about my life.
