Chapter 2.

~~~~~~~~~The Next Day~~~~~~~~ I got up and checked my phone. It was 5:43. I decided to just get up. I still hadn't packed my bag. So I started with that. I don't know where my dad lives in Montana. I guess since it has a lot of mountains it will be cold. So I packed all of jeans,sweaters,hoodies and heavy jackets. I still packed some short shorts and t-shirts. I guess it was 6 because my alarm went off. I dove to shut my phone off. I hate the alarm tone. Then I went back to packing my whole closet and dresser. I didn't know how long I was sopose to stay. And I didn't know what we had planned to do. I heard noises in the hall. I got up and opened my bedroom door. Aaron was coming out of his room and going to the bathroom. That was by my moms bedroom. He isn't usually up this early. I snuck up behind him and shoved him into the wall. He was still a little wobbly from just waking up. He hit the wall and knocked his head on it hard. He then started yelling. "Kelsey!" I ran to my room and shut the door and locked it. I knew that when he was stable. He would come after me. After about five minutes Aaron came in. Madder than hell. I locked my door but my brother knew I would so he picked the lock. He came in yelling and screaming. I just laughed in his face. Then I slammed my door in his face. I went downstairs and ate breakfast. Luckily my brother was still in his room. So I didn't have to deal with him. I ran back upstairs and grabbed my bags. Once I was down stairs I realized I didn't pack my laptop. I quickly ran upstairs and shoved my laptop in my laptop bag. Then I pounded on my brothers door to make sure he was ready. Then my brother, my mother and I got into my moms car and drove off. On the way there I had my headphones in listing to music. I was thinking why can't my mom come with us to our dads. I honestly want my mom to come. And I'm glad my brother is coming. Yes. I just said I'm glad my brother was coming. It took about 25 minutes to get there. It was 7:15 now and we still had to go through security. I gave my mother a kiss and told her I loved her and said goodbye. After we went through security it was 7:20 we had about 10 minutes to get on the plane. After I made sure we were on the right plane. We went on and got seated. I looked around and spotted Kevin. Shit! They are here. But how? This was gonna be a fun trip. I was nervous to get on the plane. But after awhile I started to relax. It still bugged me that Kevin and his crew were here. Aaron was flirting with some girls. That sat in the seat across the aisle from us. I just closed my eyes. I all a sudden got really tired. "Kelsey get up." I heard a voice call from beside me. "We are landing." I slowly tilted my head up. It was Aron who was telling me to get up. I open my eyes and laid my head up against the window. I could see the airport that we were landing at, and the mountains that spotted the background. As much as I hated coming here it was beautiful. We were getting off the plane and heading to the front desk when I saw a guy that looked a lot like Aaron. "Aaron is that him?"" I don't know." He said as we took our seats. The guy walks over to us. "Are you and Kelsey and Aaron?" "Um yes." Me and my brother say at the same time. "Hello I'm Kaplan your father." He replies. I'm thinking who in the hell names there son Kaplan. When the Kaplan says "Can you guys come with me? Please." We started walking towards the exit. When it occurred on me that not everyone are honest and how can we tell he is our father. Even thought we do look kinda like him. It took what seemed like hours to get to my dads place. His house was huge on the cliff. Behind the house you could see the mountains. We came to a stop and a lady came running outside.

Kaplan was getting out of the car. It took me a couple of seconds to realize what was happening. When we all were out of the car. I took a minute to look at the big beautiful cabin. Then Aaron was waving his big hands in front of my face. When I came to reality. We went inside and I was still in amazement. Kaplan showed us our rooms that we were gonna be staying in. They were big. Each bedroom had there on big bathroom and walk in closet. Kaplan brought everything that I brought into my room. Kaplan noticed how tired I was and told me dinner was at 7 and to get some rest.

I woke up to the sound of my phone going off. I looked at it and saw 20 texts messages and 28 miss calls. One of the texts was from Jacob and then two from Lauren asking if I made it alright. The rest was from my mother even all the miss calls. I went to go answer the call but missed it. I called my mom back. "Thank god I was getting worried. What happen. Are you okay. Have you met your father yet?" "Oh my gosh mom calm down. Yes I'm fine. And yes I have met him. You could of told me his name was Kaplan."Oo I forgot about that sweetie." I quickly looked at the time."Hey mom I have to go its 6:30. I'm getting ready to go eat. Bye love you." "Love you to." I went into the big bathroom that was attached to my room. I turned on the water and jumped in the shower.

After I got out of the shower I went downstairs. Plates were already laid out. I sat down and Kaplan sat down. Aaron soon came down a few minutes later. Kaplan's wife sat down next to me. The maid served us food. It was silence for a few minutes. Then Kaplan started up the conversation with how have you been. That pissed Aaron off. "Really you ask us how we have been! Why haven't you contacted us before this!" "Aaron calm down!" "No it's fine." Kaplan said. "I understand you probably hate me." "We don't hate you. We just don't understand why you weren't there for us." "I know I wasn't there and I know you shouldn't forgive me but I wanna be here for you now." "Are you going to tell them what you planned." Kaplan's wife asked Kaplan. "Oh yes. We have planned to leave next week for California and we want you guys to come." "Um sure." I replied. By then it was 8. Aaron and I made our way upstairs. I gave him a hung an went to my room. I checked my phone again and forgot to text Lauren and Jacob back. I text Lauren and told her everything that happened and that my fathers name is Kaplan. Then I read the text from Jacob. It said "I heard ab u going to meet your dad. Good luck. I hope you have fun. But when we get back we need to talk." I sent back "Having fun so far... What do u need to talk about?" About 5 minutes later I checked my phone again. He didn't reply but he read the message. A hour later he said " You will see."
