Dusk

Chapter 2

Green eyes snapped open. Lauren looked around the room and frowned when her eyes lay upon her Unique. The Alpha carefully moved her Beta from her embrace before she moved Dinah onto her back. She carried her over to Ally and then let her Guide hug the young girl into her warm fur.

"Hey pup, you ok?" Lauren asked as she brushed her nose against Perrie's. The Alpha watched as her silver coat from before started to turn black. The wolf starting to change as wings broke themselves free from their hidden place in her back.

"Pup, wake up!" The Alpha pushed the wolf again with her nose. "Dinah, Ally!" She called before the large wolf moved over the Unique and started to nudge her repeatedly. "C'mon pup, up you go!" She said again and used one of her paws to stroke the span of the wolf's back.

The now black wolf growled and whimpered in her sleep. Her wings spread and were slowly turning pitch black. Green eyes darkened and The Alpha crouched down to her pack member's face. She nudged her and called her name loudly, her paw still trying to rub the blonde's back.

Lauren nudged her one more time before white eyes snapped open and jumped across the room. The Alpha lowered herself to the floor and wagged her tail. "Hey pup, c'mere?" She asked as causally as possible. The black slowly started to fade from the panting wolf's coat. Her wings curling back and dissappearing.

The Alpha stood carefully and sat down on the floor. She turned her head to the side and bent one ear. Perrie's now scared eyes looked around her as she whimpered. Her fur turning brown as she shook and whimpered. The Unique slowly looked up at caught the green gaze of her Alpha.

Immediately she was running up to her and nuzzling into her coat. The wolf whimpering as she did so. Perrie changed back into her human form with Lauren, Dinah and Ally doing the same. Lauren wrapped her arm's around the crying blonde and soothed her quietly.

"She's here! She's in Ruin Falls!" Perrie wailed and clung to Lauren tightly. "Who's here Perrie? Come on pup, who's here babe?" The Alpha asked as she stroked her blonde hair. "L-L-Lovato! I s-saw her!" The blonde slurred and cried as she tried to hide in Lauren's embrace.

Green eye's went white in pure rage. "Pup, go sit with Ally and Dinah, it'll be ok! On you go!" Lauren ushered the girl over to her friends who kept their distance. The blonde curled up and Dinah changed to her wolf form quickly. She curled up behind Perrie and lay her paw over her waist. Ally lay down in front of her and smoothed her hair away from her face. Her hands locking with the blonde's.

The Alpha changed quickly and a large, midnight blue wolf ran outside of the cabin. White eyes scanned the area before she heard talking in town. Her paws carried her quickly over to the end of the woods and she followed the tree line until she was close to the house at the other end of town. If she was anywhere in Ruin Falls, it would be here.

"Lovato! Get your ass out here!" She shouted to her. She could hear a heartbeat. Her heartbeat. And The Alpha knew she got the message because she was instantly locked out of her thoughts. Lock bond.

The green eyes wolf growled when she appeared at her back door. The wolf quickly ran over to her garden and jumped the large wall she had surround the backs of her property. She looked up at her and she stared. "Lauren, hi pup!" She smiled but the wolf only growled. "Drop the attitude! Alright?" She snapped and Lauren sighed.

"Thought so, now change back and let's have a proper conversation!" She said sternly and the Alpha rolled her eyes but changed back. "Good, now, what are you doing here?" She asked and Lauren scoffed. "What are you doing here is the real question!" The Alpha replied as she looked the woman up and down.

"For the same reason as you I'm guessing pup!" The Alpha rolled her eyes. "Don't call me that!" Lauren said through a clenched jaw. "Lauren, why are you here?" Brown eyes bore into green. "You scared Perrie!" The Alpha growled as she took a step forwards. "Is she ok?" The woman looked distressed, but Lauren only scoffed again.
