Forever and ever was what you said.

Forever and ever is what I dread.

I don't remember when I was free.

I don't know what you did to me.

You've told me you loved me over and over.

I never thought you'd be with another.

Now you're with her, and I'm alone.

I might as well turn to stone.

You told me that you would stay.

But yet, you strayed, far away.

I cry almost every night.

And then I turn out my light.

I promised you forever.

And forever, I shall stay.

For you have all of me.

And I shall never be free.
