I woke with a migraine. The alarm clock next to me read 9:34 am. I sat up slowly and looked around. Memories from the previous night's emotional warfare plagued my thoughts.

I used the toilet, washed my hands and face, applied light make up (just in case) and pulled my robe over my shoulders. Quietly, I unlocked and opened my door. After a quick glance around, my heart ached when I realized he hadn't returned.

I found a bottle of Tylenol and filled a glass with water. I stared out the window as I tried to remind myself that this was only a fairy tale and, apparently, my clock had struck midnight the minute Harry left to save the damsel in distress.

As soon as I powered it on, my phone beeped to indicate I had several voicemails and text messages. Even though I wasn't quite in the mood, I scrolled through the texts. Harry had sent several, well, someone had sent them from his phone.

Cassidy was blatantly envious. She must have had feelings for Harry for quite some time, because she knew him well and he felt the need to be there for her.

"Doesn't she understand that if she does psychotic shit, that he definitely won't go for her?" I shrieked.

The last text from Harry was an apology stating that he would join me around noon to spend our last day together. I rolled my eyes then grabbed a banana. The beach was calling my name, so I went to my room to slip into my yellow bikini - the one with the least amount of fabric.

"Hey Kim," I answered after the second ring.

"Girl, how are things going?!?" she screeched.

"Well, we were right - he is a romantic!" I responded. "But he has a lot of friends here, so it's been challenging."

"What the fuck? You're with Harry Styles and complaining about his friends?????"

"It's not that," I paused.

"What aren't you telling me?" she demanded.

"There's a girl...she's apparently in love with him...." my voice trailed off.

"He brought another girl with him?? "

"No, she's a friend of Luke's," I explained. "And she's wanted Harry for a very long time. I'm not going to compete for him. In fact, I'm about ready to return home."

"Mona, screw that girl! Get Harry back to you and show him what he's missing," at least my best friend believed in me.

"Alright," I agreed hesitantly.

I called Harry. His phone rang twice and went to voicemail.

"I'm in my bikini, mixing a vodka with lemonade and headed to the beach. Just missing you, Harry Styles," I whispered seductively into the phone. "If you aren't here in an hour, I'm going to find someone else to spend the day with..."

Large sun hat on, sunglasses covering my eyes, drink in one hand and beach bag over the shoulder, I strolled down to the beach. The water looked amazing, so I snapped a selfie while toasting the ocean with my drink.

The sun was bright, the air was warm and the sound of the waves crashing into the sand lulled me to sleep. I awoke to my phone vibrating against the sunscreen bottle in my bag. I scrambled to find it.

"Hello," I answered before checking the screen.

"Mona, it's me," Louis said.

"Hey Lou, everything ok?"

"Yes, well, I'm actually in Miami," he replied.

"Oh really?" I wasn't sure how to respond.

"Yeah, I know you're only here one more day and I had a meeting in Orlando on Tuesday then I'm headed to Atlanta right after," he explained. "I just thought we could hang out a bit while I'm in the states."
