Diary entry No.1 - 'New year, new me' such a cringe saying but I seriously need to recreate myself this year, off to collage, I mean I'm only 17 I feel like I should still be in kindergarten. But yes, in high school I partied too hard and didn't take myself seriously so this year will be different, I will study harder!

Moving out day, today was the day my life starts for real. 'You sure you've got everything you need?' my anxious dad asked me. 'Yes, please stop worrying, it's only colla-- 'Only collage, god Annabel this is the next big step it's not just some little move' my dad laughed. I rolled my eyes at him and sulked. The journey wasn't as bad as expected my dad didn't cry and it only took 3/4 of an hour. When I arrived I saw people everywhere, groups of people all screaming and gorgeous collage boys. I'm so exited to start the year!
Eventually I got all settled into my room and I gladly was staying in an individual room so I could appreciate time to myself. 'Okay, everything is in place, locks on the doors, blinds fully close.. Okay good I feel well enough to let you go now' my dad exhaled. 'God you make it out to be much worse than it is, this is the best collage in California, dad don't worry yourself, I'm going to have a blast! I reassured him with a hug. We said our goodbyes and that was the last time I'd see him until half-term.
I felt calmed and settled now that everything was in place and I was ready to get going, so I flopped onto my unusually comfortable bed and took a nap.
I was suddenly awoken by super loud music and everything in my room vibrating. At first I thought the building was collapsing. I leaped up and tried to figure out where it was coming from. I soon realised it was coming from the room next door. Seriously?! I get put next to the arrogant party animal? I looked in the mirror tidied myself up and stormed into the corridor and banged on the next door along, the
door opened...
