"I'm on my way now, Mother!" I ran to the nearest store to buy a carton of milk and eggs for breakfast as usual. Mother gave me some money to get it. She was a very lovely and kind mother. My friends were jealous of her. She is my only one and my only hope after my father left us forever.

"Sorry miss, milk and eggs are not available for the moment." said the owner of the store. I was so devasted. The owner smiled and told me another place where I can find milk and eggs. Although the location was a bit far, I will still do it for Mother. The owner gave me a paper with the directions to the store.

I hummed along the way to the store while galloping happily. The road was unfamilliar for me and deserted. Quiet and silence accompany by a cold breeze shooked me. Finally, the attended store was in my view. As I approached the store -- before I could push the front door, I felt a soft tap on my shoulder. I slighty turned behind just by a crook of the neck, a dark silhouette appeared and quickly went lost in sight.

A strange feeling of being watched enveloped my spirit. My heart started beating rapidly, my breathing hikes for a few seconds as I was in a state of fear. I brushed it all away and continued to buy the things needed by Mother. Walking on the tarred road with a view of blady grass by my sides. The wind blew between my hair as I enjoyed the awe-inspiring scenery.

After several steps on the way home, anxiety fills me up. I was lost on the road where I can only find a playground a few blocks ahead. "It would not hurt to try swinging on that swing ." I smiled. I went to the playground and tried swaying my body back and forth on the worn out wooden swing. I stopped for awhile and immediately crooned Mother's favorite song, Scarborough Fair. I was lost in thought, I can see Mother's worried on her face. Suddenly, I realized I was swinging on my own. I looked behind slighty and saw a man.

He looked as he was in his 30s. His hair was swept behind nearly, looked smart. He wore a casual outfit of a black shirt and grey Italian jeans. He grinned at me while pushing the swing. "Stop it!" I screamed my lungs out. His expression instantly changed to being scared. I began to run away as fast as lighting. To my suprised, he ran after me.

"Stop little girl. I'm not going to hurt you." I don't know why but I stopped on my feet. I panted while he ran to my side. He reminds me of my dad. I remembered how my dad looks like because he was with me till I aged 4 years old. Both of us were out of breath.

He told me to calm down while taking  short, quick breaths. A smile broke out on his face. A small wave of relief washed over me and he introduced himself politely. "My name is Jeff Blont. You can call me Jeff." At first glance, I was very frightened of him. But, he told me his name so I thought if I do the same, we both will be even. Breaking the stranger relationship.

"My name is Mei. Mei Enma. " I replied. He held his hand out for me to shook it. I accepted and went on shooking his hands. We both smiled. I can feel a connection that will embark to a very great point. At that moment, I finally understood the meaning of trust.
