They had been driving for quite a while, and Angela was getting restless.

"Where are we going, Darren? I need to take this blindfold off. It's driving me crazy."

Darren laughed. He was enjoying this.

"Soon honey. We're nearly there."

After a few miles, Darren steered the car off the road and down a dirt road.
Soon they arrived at a secluded lake.

He parked the car and helped Angela to get out.

"You can take it off now," he said.

Angela pulled off the blindfold and gasped. She threw her arms around him and kissed him.

"It's where we had our first date. I love you so much, Darren Parker."

Darren held out his hand, which Angela took. They walked towards the shore.

Bliss.

Suddenly, large waves began lapping the shore.

They stepped back and were stunned as a Nazi U-boat ran aground.

Within seconds, the hatch opened and hoards of the undead spilt out.

They looked at one another.

"The boot," they said in tandom.

They ran head first into the throng.
Darren despatched them with the skill of a trained assassin, his blade cutting through them with ease.

Angela, barely blinking picked them off one by one with her custom shotgun. It was like she was in a video game.

Within half an hour, the shore was strewn with the mutilated bodies of the undead.

They were both bloodied, but unharmed.

"I'll grab the hamper, you take the blanket and find a nice spot, babe," said Darren.

"God, I love you," she sighed.

They had a lovely picnic and watched the sun sink into the Earth.

Darren had even made her favourite meal.

What a guy.
