----------Ali Sharma was strewn across her bed in what her mother would say was a rather un-lady like manner. But Ali's mother was not there and Ali's monthly friend was and as she looked down at all of the empty packets littered across her apartment she realised one thing: this wasn't enough chocolate.
She had taken the day off work with what had to be the most painful series of period cramps she'd ever had. Her best friend, Alissa, had already been around with a bag loaded to the brim with chocolate happiness: nothing tasted better to Ali than chocolate on her period. But 8 hours later Alissa and all the chocolate had gone and with a distasteful groan she noted that she'd actually have to go outside to buy some more chocolate.
Pausing the Skins rerun playing on her T.V, she lifted herself off of her comfortable bed with barely contained dismay and dragged herself to her wardrobe lazily pulling out clothes at random. It's late, she thought, and my stomach kills like a bitch, besides it's not like I'm even going to see anyone else there. She slipped on a pair of black jeans, a grey Nike hoodie and a pair of black Roshe runs, not bad, not bad at all. Keys in hand, Ali crossed her apartment and grabbed her adidas jacket on her way out the door.
Walking down the stairs she paused, an unusual clenching in the pit of her stomach. She tensed, an unusual feeling of dread washing over her body, clinging to her muscles. In her ravenous need for comfort food Ali dismissed the ominous feeling.Years later she would ponder upon the thought that she might have gone back, that she might of been too afraid of the dark feelings plaguing her body. However, Ali was Ali and nothing, absolutely nothing was going to stop her from fulfilling her chocolate craving that early morning in June. Except, of course, three bank robbers.
