Savannah's POV
I was waiting for riker to be done talking to his Aunt. It has been over 20 minutes. I decided to go down stairs to see what was going on. "Riker?" I say as i walk to the end of his stair case. I saw right sitting at the kitchen table talking to his Aunt. I had no idea what it was about. "And who might you be?" She asked with a angry tone in her voice. "I am Savannah. A friend of Riker's" i answered confused. "Now riker what did i say about having girls in your room!" She yelled at him. By this point i was getting very confused and a little sacred. She walked over to riker and slapped him in the face. I can't believe what i just saw. I was about to walk over and stop her. "Vanni. Go." riker said sternly. "I think you should listen to him." His aunt said with an evil expression on her face. I ran out of his house and into my car and drove to my house. I can't believe what i just witnessed.

The next day
I got to school and got my books and went to my first class. Riker was not there. I haven talked to him since i saw that his aunt abuses him. I am very worried. I tried texting him and calling him but he didn't reply. I feel like i should go over there but at the same time i don't wanna get hurt. At the end of lunch i say screw it and i skip school and drive to Riker's house. My last 2 periods in my option and a free period so it is not that bad that i skipped.

I get to Riker's house and i see no cars in the driveway. Thats a good sign. I walk to the door and knock on it. Nothing. I knock again and say "Riker? Are you there?" Still. Nothing. Then a remember another way to get in. I go into his backyard and climb the tree that is in front of his window. I open the window and climb into Riker's room. I turn to see him sleeping in his bed. I looks scared and sweaty. He starts to move and mumble. " riker, riker! Wake up!" I try to shake him awake. He jolts awake. Breathing heavily. He looks at me.
