Please don't expect updates this fast anymore. I'm just bored and don't want to go to sleep.

Enjoy!

The little girl appeared in the middle of Times Square. Nobody noticed of course cause it's Times Square. The little girl walked up to a man on the corner, wearing a suit, and tugged on his jacket to get his attention.

He looked at the girl and his eyes got wide. "It's time isn't it?" Asked the man, the girl nodded. The man quickly called over a cab and they got in.

"So, were have you been?" He questioned.

The girl looked at him a moment and finally said, "The forest." Then she looked away.

"Well that explains everything," the man muttered sarcastically. Soon they arrive at a hotel. They get out and walk down the dark alley and to the back. The man and the girl stare at the dirty wall. Finally the girl walks up and presses a brick and a hidden door opens into darkness. She walks strait in without hesitation unlike the man who hesitates just a second before walking in.

At the end of a dark, narrow hallway it opens up into a huge room full of people, with sparkling white pillars along the walls. The girl looks up to see the ceiling is painted to show the stars. Instead of tile or carpeting on the floor there is soft, green grass.

"Now who are you?" A old man with graying hair and yellow teeth asks the little girl.

"I'm Melinda E. Breakernone," replies the little girl. The old man looks startled and rushes off in search of something or someone.

The man that came with Melinda is suddenly at her side and rushing her in the direction of a pair of glass doors, but the glass is so dark you can't see through it, and into the room beyond.

Melinda is greeted with the scent of cinnamon, honey, and what might be death. In this room the ceiling is painted into a sunset, and bookshelves that reach to the ceiling line the back wall, the other walls painted gold, and the floor is meant to look like dirt.

There is a huge glass table in the middle of the room. A woman with raven black hair braided and resting

on her shoulder, dark green eyes, and is wearing a flowing purple dress, is sitting at the table. Standing to her right is a boy about Melinda's age, with messy brown hair, wearing shorts and a green tee-shirt. The old man is standing to her left. The man Melinda came with has made his way across the room and is now standing by the old man.

Melinda looks down at her black dress, leggings, and black gloves, her black hair falling limply on her shoulders. She comes to the conclusion that she is either under dressed, or over dressed, or possibly in-between.

"Hello Melinda," says the woman. "Please sit, in fact everyone may sit." Everyone sits, Melinda sitting as far as possible to the woman.

"Hi," is all Melinda says back.

"I'm Daphne Ginner and this is-"

"I know who you are."

"Well I'm guessing you don't kno-"

"Carter Steal, son of Garret Steal. Harmon Obinoh, your grandfather. And Pollux Whymen, the top business man for your 'business' if you will." Melinda says, pointing at each in turn.

"Oh, so you did your research."

"Maybe, maybe not." they glare at each other till The old man, Harmon says

"Can we get this over with?"

"Fine. Melinda you died 1352 years ago correct?"

"Yes."

"How did you die again?"

"Why does it matter exactly?"

"That's not your business at the moment."

"Last time I checked it's my death we are talking about."

"Alright I'm planing on bringing you back to life." Everyone but Daphne is shocked. They all look around at each other trying to figure out if she's joking or not.

"Why me?"

"Because you are the only one who can do what I need you to do."
