We'd just finished up playing a out of tune version of Rolling in the Deep and I turned to talk to Andrew. There was a crash and the stage door opened. All our heads turned as the men ran in. They had all white uniforms and pointed their guns at us. A few people yelped as Mr. Straight walked in behind them.
Mr. Green stood up and a gun was pushed at his chest. Andrew stepped in front of me as if to protect me. Straight walked to Mr. Green.
"Hey, what's going on?" Mr. Green asked.
"I suggest you stay quiet Green." Mr. Straight replied and the gun at our Band teacher's chest was pushed closer to him. Mr. Straight turned to us students. "You will follow me, single file, no talking," He turned to a soldier next to him. "Don't let Green out of your sight." The soldier nodded.
Olivia led us out behind Mr. Straight and his soldiers walked on either sides of us. I could feel the fear in my classmates, Jack coughed behind me and I turned to him. He gave me a sad look and I turned back. Straight led us out side and loaded us onto a bus.
I sat in a seat with Andrew, Straight sat up front.
"Listen up brats," He started once the bus started moving, two soldiers blocked every exit. " First rule, no talking, There'll plenty of that in the arena. Rule two, no talking to me unless given permission. Got it?" He smiled, no one dared talked. I so badly wanted to speak up, but I didn't want to argue with someone with guns.
I looked up at my best friend next to me, he gave me a frightened look, I must have returned it because he took my hand. I smiled at this little act of kindness.
Straight said something to his soldiers and they put a wall up blocking us from him. The back of the bus filled up with gas and I blacked out.
