Poke sighed. He looked up at Joe. The room was dark and they were wary. They shouldn't be here. " I wish we could do this in public. I wish we didn't have to sneak around." Poke  said, looking away. Joe sighed. "So do I, love. But you know what they're like. This is war. And we're on opposing sides."  A tear escaped Pokes' eye.

" I'm yours you know. I love you" Joe nodded." I know Pokey. I love you too." They met regularly here. In the woods on an island in between both sides. " It kills me to do this. I'm terrified that someone will find us. Or they already know." Joe kissed the top of his head." They won't, they don't."

"When you're up there, with Ant. Does it feel the same?." Joe sighed and looked him in the eyes. " There is nothing between-" Poke cut him off. " If I-If I was ready to settle down....Would you leave?" Joe smiled." I would never leave you. I love you." This made Pokes' face light up.

They collapsed onto a heap on the ground." Why can't I say that I'm in love with you?" Poke asked,sniffling. " I wanna shout it from the roof of my house, from the middle of the ocean, from this island, from the top of your watch tower." Joe wiped at his eyes." I wish that it could be like that" He whispered.

I don't even like this song but I seen Allegiant earlier, which was great, and this song was playing and I was like oneshot yes.

This is also vaguely based on Joe's second episode of le cube named ' Forbidden Friendship'
