Chapter 2: Friends

Emma's POV

I woke up to my alarm blaring 5sos.

I showered, chose a pair of skinny jeans and a nice hanging tank top with some vans, blowdried my hair and left it nice and natural and did my makeup all natural.

I ate some pancakes that were on the table with a note saying "Went grocery shopping be back before lunch" -mom

I grabbed my skateboard and i just rode around the new neighborhood

After a minute or so someone spoke scaring me

"Hi" the guy said

"Hello" i replied

"You're that new girl that just moved in right?" He asked

"Yeah" i said "what's your name?"i asked

"Aaron Thompson" he said "you"

"I'm Emma Smith"I replied

"You wanna go back to our part of the neighborhood? to meet the others" he asked

"Others?" I asked

"The guys i was playing basletball with last night and the two girls they are sort of my barkada"

"Barkada? You know tagalog?"I asked excited that i have a fellow filam here

"Well yeah I'm half filipino half american. But I grew up here"he said

"Me too!" I said a little excited

"Well here we are" he said once we got back
"Guys this is Emma the new girl"

"Hi i'm Raven Brooks" the girl with black hair said "And that's my brother Jordan we're filipino americans just like Aaron"

"I'm Chase Rivera" the girl with blonde hair said (pronounced as Riveyra)

"And I'm Carl Rivera chase's brother" the guy with the curly hair said

"And these are my little brothers Fred he's Six And Michael he's eight"Aaron said

I smiled and said "Well its nice meeting you all and i'm Emma i'm thirteen."i said "Have you guys met my brother and sister?"

They nodded

"Do you want to go biking with us?"Raven asked

"Yeah sure just let me get my bike" i said

Aaron's POV last night

I saw her looking at us from her window I smiled and waved she waved back and closed her curtain I guess she went to sleep

I smiled to myself

And Jordan said "why are you blushing?"

"Uhh..." I blushed even more

"You like her don't you?" Raven asked

I shrugged "she's pretty but i don't know if get to know her and know her personality more I guess"

Emma's POV

"You wanna go to my house and play some xbox?" Aaron asked

"Sure" I replied

*At Aaron's house*

"Go ahead and pick a game i'll just make some popcorn"he said

I nodded

I looked through he's video games but i chose my ultimate favorite LEFT 4 DEAD 2!!

I put the game in and he came back with popcorn and coke.

"What did you choose?" He asked looking at the screen " LEFT 4 DEAD 2!! MY FAVORITE!!" he exclaimed like a little school girl

I couldn't stop laughing "Me too" I said after laughing my butt off

His eyes twinkled with amusement

And we just played until lunch

"That was fun but I have to go home to eat lunch" I said

"Well ok then see you soon" he said

I nodded and went home.

*once i got home*

"Where were you!?!" My mom said

"Went to our neighbors house he was nice"I replied

"Well ok. We're having your favorite for lunch" my mom said

"Steak and Corn!" I said my mouth watering

"Yes dear" my mom said laughing

"Emma will you play dolls with me?" My little sister said

"Sure" I replied
