Today's the day. Our first mission. In the past 24 hours, Robby, Wilson and I have been going over our plan. To say that I'm frightened would be an understatement.

I would imagine that we're in a black limo, sunglasses perked on our faces, hair perfectly slicked back. The wind blowing in our faces as the pedestrians stop and glance.

A girl can dream.

We're in the back of a yellow taxi car that smells unusually of burritos. The seats are stained an unsanitary gray and the taxi driver sticks his hand back to retrieve his money.

Wilson places fifteen dollars in his hand and we watch the driver skid off.

"Are you ready, Wilson?" I say, waiting for his plead of refusal.

He sends me a glare. "Do I look ready, Reece? I can't believe I'm doing this." His hand is over his face and I watch with sympathy as he glides it down.

Robby had to stay at home, in front of the monitor trying to hack into the system. While we were there, to make this all the more realistic, we dressed Wilson in all black. He wears a leather jacket, despite the hot weather, black dress pants and black shoes.

"Everyone's looking at me." He says shakily as I grab his hand and drag him to the back entrance.

"Wait here, I'll swipe someone's I.D card."

Running towards the other side of the entrance, I casually blend in as I walk amongst the crowd. Turning my Bluetooth on, I look down at my outfit. I'm wearing a gray pencil skirt and a red blouse, which exceptionally makes me look way much older than I am. My hair lands in curves just below my shoulders and moves with the wind as I hurriedly walk in my heels towards the main desk.

The building is full of important people, I suppose. Looking at various chests of the security guards around the exits, I choose my pick on who I'm going to swipe. Normally, I would've never believed that I would steal, but when they..killed..my dad, it gave me the motivation to escape my comfort zone.

"Hello, I'm Reece Xavier. Maybe you've heard of me?" I extend my hand to the security guard who is twice my size.

"No idea who you are," he says, "No one is permitted beyond this point."

"I have an appointment with Nixon. Our business transaction will be the greatest collab he's had in years. I'm looking foward to it." I'm trying to accumulate a conversation, but this man looks blankly at me.

"Every individual who walks into this building has high hopes in collaborating with Nixon Darce. It's funny how their faces look once he turns them down."

A man passes by me and I grab the cup of coffee from his hands. The security guard is busy speaking with another guest, so he doesn't hear the coffee man tell me off.

Flipping a hand, the man just walks away.

I chuck the coffee at the security guard. "Oops! I am so sorry, let me help you please!"

I fundle with the security's jacket and unclip the I.D and chuck it in my pocket. He's yelling at me, grabbing my arm roughly, yanking his jacket back and throwing me outside the building.

A smile forms on my lips.

I'm running to Wilson but stop in my steps once I hear him speak to someone different. Rounding the corner, I see a tall man, tattoos extending down his arms, speaking to Wilson.

"Wilson...?" I say, standing beside him.

"This guy just asked for your dad." He grabs my hand and pulls me behind him.

  "Who are you?"

The tall man smiles at me. "Jared. I've heard a lot about you, Reece."

So sorry for not updating!! I didn't have the motivation to keep writing this book and I simply could no get the right content out despite my obvious trys and obvious fails.

I will try to update regularly, but I don't think my writing has drawed in enough readers. I feel as if I'm speaking to a brick wall :( I had high hopes for this book.

For all those silent readers out there, I'll keep updating just for you. I need to know if you enjoy my book, because if I don't get the right motivation then my persistence would most likely diminish and I might delete this book altogether.

I might sound like I give up easily, but I'm frustrated with all that's going on in my life. For those who enjoy this book, please tell me! I would deeply appreciate it and be forever thankful.
