Marcus Pov: (6 years old)
Yes!! Some bonding time being lonely nothing to do. Finally give me some entertainment around here. I I thought to myself. I'm also curious but where dad goes he's not here in the lab I'm always alone he leaves me alone.
Not today is different.
"Marcus come get here now." Douglas said calling his son from upstairs. "Yes dad, what is it" I asked hoping that we could spend time together. "Now you know that your bionics are to be to help me with our I mean your training right? He asked with a sneaky expression he turned to me my right eyebrow went up. With suspicion of something not right. "Yeah" I only reposed waiting for him to tell me more about it.

"Remember when I told you I would bring your something on your day of bionic training"? Dad said. Yes daddy I remember. I told him hoping this would lead to me to something more
exciting. Well.. here you go bubby. Dad said taking out a bat and a few small balls from a black trash bag. Where is he going with this? "I thought since your bionic chip now, we could spend so father/son bonding". He said with a happy expression. I didn'tknow what to say after being stuck in the lab for years and getting a chance to go outside for the first time. He how I not be so thrilled, couldn't hid my emotions dad would see right through me. "Yes let's go! I asked with a full smile on my face. We walk outside in back of our house. I had never felt grass before, hearing new sounds around me. The sounds of cars passing by, people chatting among others, cool Breeze slightly hitting my fingers.

"It's pretty breathtaking right"? Dad asks who's getting the bat ready for our bonding day. "Ready"? He exclaimed. "Yeah what our we doing"? I asked forgetting what this game was called. "Baseball" He said.
"Wait before we start I want to cover some ground rules ok" Douglas asked. I looked at him with all ears. First can't use yours bionics, second no super speed around the yard. I nodded. And third he said looking directly in my eyes."don't hit my hair" he said. If there's one thing I know about my dad is you never ever mess with his hair. I laughed a little. "Sure dad whatever you say" I said with understood look.
He throw the ball at me but I was ready for it. If this is if this is considered bionic training than sign me up. I thought to myself for a second. After a couple of hours holding on to the bat, I began to sweat from my armpits. "Alright let's head back in" dad said who also looked beat out too. Maybe the hot sun.

'Marcus I wanna show you something.'
Douglas said

"Yeah, sure." I said following his order.

"Know recently I've uncover bionic abilities, that you have."
He said pointing to a TV with a bunch high tech stuff.

"Later on, when your older. Your bionics will change and you will become more powerful than you already are." He said proudly turned back to make I listened to what he just said.

'Wow. Dad that's great'. I said with a huge smile on my face.
I wonder what another bionic abilities I'll have in the future.

"Until then you can stay here and train." Dad said going walking upstairs leavening me all alone.
At least am not so upset, at least I got to spend a few good hours with him. I thought to myself again.
Instead of training, I like should be. I'll prying that someday I can go to school and be a normal person. In truth I love my dad, he loves me too. He's just so busy with something else in his life. Secretly I wish I had siblings. They would be just like me, what bionics that way I wouldn't be so lonely. Behind my capsule under a broken piece of floorboard secret journal. Not-so-secret, dad got it for me, a few months ago still. I considered the best present, his gotten me other than my Bionics.

My journal entries:
Dear journal it's been a pretty good day so far. A few hours ago I played my first game of what is called baseball I didn't get it. Given that I have a photographic memory(which is another bionic ability). Writing take me away from the extreme loneliness inside me, keeping getting the feeling that dad's not being entire entirely truthful about me. I think I made a mistake, the fact that just the other day I was climbing the wall that Dad had made learn how hard I tried with all my strength given that I have super strength it still didn't help, he would yell at me and tell me to keep trying until. I got it right see what the big deal is, I try my best every day, it's never good enough he whisper that I was a mistake he probably didn't hear me but considering the Bionic hearing. I did it hurt me so much, that's why I'm determined to prove to him that I am worthy of him. But I can be is Best Bionic on creation ever. That I'm not weak. Each time he wants me to control my bionic abilities he pressures me to be tougher to be Harder. Always wishing that I had someone to, a friend someone. I can trust this journal is the closest thing I have to that.
All my hopes, dreams, freedom are in this journal that I would protect from anyone that tries to read it.

'Marcus shouldn't you be sleeping, in your capsule NOW."
Douglas said clearly not happy that I didn't finish my afternoon training today.

"What's that you have in your hands?" He looked at me under suspicious look. suspicion that always makes me nervous.
Running in my capsule, hoping it would rise any of his suspicion farther. "It's nothing dad, goodnight." I said with a yawn that would be convincing.
He gave me one that last look.
At my capsule with my luck he yawned too. "Alright. Goodnight Marcus." He said leaving the lab with no light on. There was no light other, than a small crack coming from outside the moonlight's beauty ever wishing that. I could sleep under stars for once or to see a shooting star.
