Chapter 2: the x-factor

It's been about 2 weeks since I saw Emblem 3. I've been texting them every now and then. But not all the time. The x-factor is next week and we are auditioning. We as in Jasmine, Makenzi, and me. Are band name is The Unknown. I thought of the name. The boys don't know we are auditioning. What they don't know won't kill them. Right? Right! Right now we are in the middle of practice we are gonna sing 'Chill Murray' by Young Science.

"Maddy what are you doing?!" Jasmine yelled. "Sorry! I was day dreaming o what it's gonna be like on the X-Factor. I'm nervous what if they don't like us!" "Maddy do you know how many people tell us we are good singers! I'm sure they will be one of them!" Makenzi said. "Ya your probably right." We rehearsed for another hour or so. When we where done we went to go out and get dinner. We chose McDonalds. I didn't get anything I wasn't in the mood I eat. When we got back to the house my mom asked "do you girls want to spend the night?" "Sure!" They said at the same time. We all went to my room and started playing 'Just Dance' I was a pro at that game. I love it! Today was a Friday so we pulled an all nighter. In the morning my dad asked "We are going to camp you girls coming?" "Hell yeah! Tubing time!" We all screamed. When we got there we swam around the lake and then we took the canoe and canoed around the lake. When we got back we took out the speed boat and my dad took us tubing. He whipped us off. It really hurt! "Your a jerk!" I yelled laughing. We got back on and we got to a sharp turn with big waves. I flew 7 feet in the air and then I was holding on with one hand cause my other hand broke loose. My legs were dragging on the water and I couldn't take it any more and I let go. When we were done we built a camp fire. Then I got a call. "Hello?" "Hi this is the X-Factor. We just wanna make sure you are coming." "Oo yes we are coming." "Ok have a nice night." "You too." I walked back over to the fire. "Who was that?" Jasmine asked. "X-Factor" "oo got it" I turn around cause I see a car pull in. 3 people get out and then I finally realize it Emblem 3. "Maddy!" Wes and Drew said running toward me they both picked me up and spun me around. "Jasmine!" I heard Keaton yell. He ran up to her and spun her around while kissing her. "What are you guys doing here?" I asked. "Your dad invited us last week and gave us the address and everything!" Wes said. "How did he get your numbers?" "He took them out of your phone." "Oo. I'm so happy to see you guys!" We all just hung out and roasted marshmallows. I felt to arms pick me up. I turned to see Wes. "Wes put me down!" "Never!" Then he threw me off the dock. My black Sheedy sweatshirt, my dark blue skinny jeans, and my mixed match socks were soaked. "Wes! You are so lucky I didn't have my supra's on! I would've killed you!" "You love me to much to kill me!" Wes said. I gave him the 'shut up' look. He started laughing so I started laughing. "Here let me help you out." He said and he gave me a hand. I had other plans. I took his hand and pulled him in. "Maddy!" I started laughing. Then we started a splash war. Drew, Jasmine, Keaton, and Makenzi all joined. When we were done we all got towels and sat around the fire. When we were done with the fire we all went to bed. We went to bed around 5 am. My dad was asleep awhile ago. Drew, Makenzie, and Keaton all slept in the bunk room. Jasmine slept in the single bed which was right next to the pull out couch. Me and Wes had to share the pull out couch. I dozed off to sleep very fast. I woke up in the middle of the night to Wes putting his arms around my waist and snuggling into my neck. I fell back asleep. In the morning everyone left. Emblem 3 had to go to NYC and Jasmine and Makenzi went home.

~2 weeks later~

Today was the day we go to the X-Factor it was a long way there. 6 1/2 hours! Ughhh! We left at 2 am just to get there on time. We signed in and started the auditions by the end of the day we were tired. But we made it to live auditions. That was next week. We had a week to rest our voice.
