New Family

The Urchin

Naruto was a year old and he lived on the street. Everyone ignored him or beat him. He was so hungry and so cold it was pathetic. He was running when he bumped into a leg.

He looked up to see a boy of average height and build. He had black hair that he keeps in a ponytail, dark eyes and a scar that runs across the bridge of his nose. He wore a simple outfit along with mesh-armour underneath it.

The boy frowned at him and before he could run away the kid pulled him up and kept him close as he said, "Stay with me and I'll get you to the next village. You can live there."

They made it to the gate and the other boy said, "Bout time Iruka."

The whole way Naruto stayed with him. When they jumped trees Naruto climbed on his back. When they stopped for the night he ate with him. And shared a sleeping bag.

The first village sucked. It was no different than Konoha. So they had kept looking. Each one they came across Iruka dismissed. Then they got to wave after crossing a body of water.

Iruka said, "Alright Naruto this is the farthest you can go. Kiri wouldn't be any better than Konoha it would be worse. So look around maybe you'll find a family here. Or maybe you'll be able to fend for yourself. But no one here will hate you."

Naruto frowned and said, "Why can't stay you?"

"Cause it would be no different. Naruto it would mean going back to Konoha. You wouldn't be happy there. Alright stay here." said Iruka smiling

Naruto hugged him and said, "Kay Iruka-Nii I'll stay here."

When Iruka ran after his team Naruto watched them leave. He was crying but it was fine. He was walking back when he spotted a woman. She was humming and do laundry.

Naruto watched her from behind a tree. Would she be like the ones in Konoha. He walked forward hia foot cracking a branch. The woman spun around and upon seeing him she dropped the knife she had and went over to him.

"Oh you poor thing come on lets get you cleaned up." said the woman.

The woman was Tsunami and she lived with her father Tazuna. She was married to a jerk named Hiro. Naruto was happy.
