New Family

Iruka's team came back through and he found Naruto. He snapped pictures and went to talk with them. Naruto saw him and said, "Ruka-Nii."

Naruto hugged him and he said, "Hello fishcake."

The woman said, "You know him?"

Iruka said, "Naruto why not go play. Just stay out of sight so the rest of my team doesnt see you."

"Kay Niisan." said Iruka

Naruto ran off and Iruka said, "May i speak with you and your family ma'am?"

They went inside and Iruka said, "Naruto is an orphan from Konoha. I brought him here. He isnt safe there right now. He was born the night of the Kyuubi attack. The majority of the peopls see him as the fox itself. I used to but after seeing him on tje street starving like he was i couldn't. He wont find anyone there to take care of him. And i can't take him the council there wont allow it."

Tsunami said, "He's welcome here. I adore him."

Iruka smiled and said, "His name is Naruto Menma Uzumaki. His mother was Kushina Uzumaki the red death herself. His father was kept a secret so i don't know who that was."

Tazuna said, "Is he supposed to be attending your school for Shinobi or no?"

Iruka said, "He is when he's seven. But i know he wont get a fair shot. So i was going to send him everything with instructions and he could be privately tutored by your family instead."

Tazuna said, "We can do that. There are a few ex-shinobi here from Kiri. I'm sure one of them could teach him."

Iruka inclined his head and he left. He knew in his heart that what he had done was right. He saw Naruto as they were leaving. He smiled at the boy and waved.

Naruto returned it and gave one back. Naruto smiled for the first time in his life as he was happy. Really and truely happy.
