Chapter 1
'... the head accountant has handed in the annual report as well as this coming year's overall average prediction. There is also a section with suggestions from resource management attached. It's the yellow section at the back. Overall annual growth is approximately 27 %, with department A expecting to be the most resourceful. Department B has been over looking the development of the new section, consumer consumption as of last month is positive 8%. Department C is waiting for your consent to start its new building project.'
Closing the folder the man stands up and hands the folder to the lady sitting across from him.
'Thank you Mr Lee, I'll take a thorough look at this. You may go.' Said the lady. She flipped open the folder and started to read the report. It has been a tiring week. All annual reports have been continuously sent into her office and there is an endless list of head managers who require her attention.
Situated on the second top floor of K-Corp was the office of Kwon Yuri, the owner of K-Corp departments, Corp steel and Corp architect building inc. The K- Corp president was the heir to the fortune of endless wealth, privilege and power.
Kwon Yuri is charismatic, smart and spotless. She is the envy of the business world, admired by the general public and loved by reporters. But there is nothing perfect about what she hides behind the spotless image, the shadow that lingers behind her every step will one day bring forward her dark secrets.
'I'm sorry to disturb you Ms Kwon, it's something important.' The person walked into the spacious office holding a black folder.
'Sooyoung, there's no need for formality when we're alone. Come take a seat.' yuri pointed at the black chair situated across from her desk.
'Yuri remember your little side project I was helping you out before I got promoted to VIP? I finally have a reliable source.' Sooyoung hands her the folder.
'Uhuh.'
'We've searched for so long, I couldn't believe was miss judged the direction of our search.'
She wasn't sure whether the information given to Yuri was for the better or worst. The girl in front of her expressed no emotion. She wasn't sure of what had happen during the period she had left her friend to go overseas for her studies. They did keep in contact but during a certain period the both of them found it difficult keep in contact. If only she had stayed back longer with her friend, if only she was there to help put her friend in her right mind, if only they had meet before her departure.
'She's back.'
'Yuri, there is something else you need to know...'
Chapter 2 : Connection From The Past
"WHAT, do mean by we've lost her?" the fuming figure shouted at her assistant. Yuri forcefully opened the door and walked out into the hall way. Frustrated and angry she vented her anger on the vase on top of a small table at the end of the hall. The vase collided with the floor with pieces of glass fragments scattered across.
"Why are you standing there? Go and do what you're paid for. FIND HER!"
A bus gradually slows down and stops in front of its bus stop in the busy city district. A blonde hair figure hastily steps out from the door and began to squeeze her way though the walking crowd towards her destination.
She was late.
Not that late.
But late enough to make her feel worried.
