"Malia Get up, you've got School" My mom yelled from downstairs.

Yay school, can you hear the sarcasm spilling out of my mouth? Oh good I thought you couldn't.
After a mental break down I got up and got ready for School.

Schools so stupid I hate it, it's long for no reason and it's full of my least favourite thing in the world. People. And to make it worse I've only recently started this new school thanks to my mom, sister and I packing up our stuff and moving all the way from New York to sunny California to a small town, that is Beacon Hills.

If I had it my way I'd still be homeschooled. And never leave my room unless it's to get food or go for a ride on my skateboard.

Getting undressed I threw my pjs in the dirty clothes bin in my bathroom. jumping straight into the shower wasting no time. I have no choice but to go school, I at least don't want to be late.
20mins later I came out wrapped a towel around myself and set off to brush my teeth and get dressed.
1hour I was sporting white tee, black jeans, checked vans sliders & a denim jacket. Grabbing what I needed I headed downstairs for breakfast.

"Morning Muppet" I ruffled my little sister's hair. Fetching a bowl along with a spoon, lucky charms and milk. Once finished I settled down opposite my sister munching on my cereal. "Lia you messed up my hair" Melody whined trying to fix it.

"Don't be a baby I hardly done anything" I tried not to laugh at her frowning at me. she's too cute.  "You're 10 anyways you've still got a while before you need to start worry about that stuff. I don't even like running a brush through my hair when I'm tired." I shrugged.

"Well I'm not you and you're lazy that's why" hey I'm not lazy, okay maybe I am but she didn't have to mention it.

"Yeah well I'm not trying to impress anyone so"

"I'll never do something to impress a boy. I don't have time for them" ladies and gentlemen my 10 year old sister round of applause.
"Gosh you make me laugh. You say that now but wait on it.You're going to start looking at boys differently and think they're cute  Trust me it happens to the best of us." I want me some Johnny Depp or Leonardo DiCaprio oh mama or even Michael B Jordan.

"Alright girls time to go" mom walked in the kitchen, checking she had everything. Quickly finishing up what was left in my bowl I put it in the sink before grabbing my bag and following mom & Melody out of the house and into the car. Calling shot gun of course, I'm the oldest it's only fair I do.

The journey to school isn't too long by car. But I'm not sure how long it will be by skateboarding seeing I'm 16 and haven't got my permit yet and can't drive, my mom has to drop me off. I'm gonna skate there once I become familiar with this town. Taking the School bus is not a option for me, Loud kids in the morning, no thanks. I mean where do they even find the energy I'm lucky if I make it through breakfast without falling asleep whilst chewing.

"Alright sweetheart have a nice day" my mom waved once I got out of the car. "I'll try but I'm not making any promises. Bye muppet" I waved at them both before the car pulled away.
"Great another day of boring"  hiking up my bag over my shoulder I took a deep breath then entered.

I couldn't be happier that the school day is going pretty fast. The first four lesson breezed by before I could even know what the hell we were learning. It's finally Lunch time by far my favourite time of the day. Anything to do with delicious food is A-okay with me, I guess that's why I kinda liked home Eco.
"God bless whoever came up with  lasagne and garlic bread because you guys are heroes" I muttered to myself as the smell hit my face once I entered the cafeteria. I made my way over to the queue already knowing what I'm gonna get.
