Chapter 3: Awkward (Part 1)

Narrator

Ezreal took Lux at Ruby's hotel to help her get some rest and at the same time, heal her wounds.. Ruby helped Ezreal bring Lux to the room that Ez rented.. She also helped with changing Lux' clothes and heal her wounds..

Ezreal's POV

"So, where did 'ya found the gurl?"  asked Ruby

"Well, you already knew that we headed to The Underground to see what happened.. And we saw that there were soldiers, lying everywhere.. We didn't saw anyone survived, except her of course.. But Crux and the others doesn't know about her..

"Hey, listen, can you do me a favor?? Can you take care of her for a while?? I need to head back to HQ.." -Me

"Woah woah woah woah woah, No can do mister.. I can't just take care of her while runnin' my hotel.. Let alone a stranger.." -Her

Ugh, this girl.. -_-

*sigh* "Come on Ruby, it'll only be for a few days.. Look, as soon as I come back, I'll pay ya.. Or maybe.. *leans a little closer as he whispers* I'll give you something.. "special""  -Me

*rolls eyes* "I'm not like those gurl you always hook up with.. *thinks* Hmm, alrighty then, but in one condition.. *smiles* Ya need to double yer payin' since it's MY service we're talkin 'bout" -Her

*sighs then chuckles a bit* I can't get her with charms.. But with money.. Oh well, it's better than nothing..

"You got yourself a deal.. But keep this a secret from everyone else for now.. Especially, Crux.." I said to her as we shook hands..

"mmppff.."

We looked at each other as the girl finally woke up from her "slumber"

She yawned as she looked at us with her sleepy blue eyes..

"W-who are you?? W-where am I??!!!"  She said as her eyes widened

"My my, what greeting you have for those who helped you.." Ruby chuckles as she looked at the girl

"I-I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to.. *coughs* Let me start over.. Thank you for helping me.. I really appreciated it.. My name is Luxanne, you can call me Lux if it's too hard for you.."

She smiled a little as she scans the room..

"Much better.. Well Lux, my names Ruby and I run this place.. And this guy beside me is your knight in shining armor.. *winks* Well, I have to get back to work, Ez, it's your time to shine"

She patted my shoulder before she left.. Leaving me and Lux alone in the room..

*cough cough* "So, you're the one who saved me.. Thank you Mister.. Umm.." -Her

"Ezreal, or Ez.. either way.. It is a pleasure to be of your acquaintance" I bowed to her like a real gentleman would do.. Gets them everytime..

"Oh, okay then.. Ez.. Thank you for saving my life.." She smiled at me

Hmm.. For a soldier, she seems to be one those lady-like kind of girl.. Kind of a turn on if I do say so myself.. I smiled back at her..

And then.. awkward silence filled the air..
