When Souls Attract/The Gift

"Come outside..." Angel told her.

"Sh**!" She whispered as she popped her head away from the window. "What the Hell!" She thought to herself. It took her a second but she opened the door, and went outside.

Angel was sitting on the steps gazing up at the stars. Katherine sat down next to him.

"Beautiful night tonight right...?" He asked.

"Yea..." Katherine said looking up at the stars. Then Katherine glanced at him a little, and there was no doubt she was totally attracted to him. In the back of her mind she wanted him, but everything she experienced with him so far was just way too weird and that turned her off!

"So..." She said. "I had a dream tonight, and it's weird because you ended up waiting outside for me."

Angel looked at her "You were dreaming about me..?" He asked her smiling.

"It was just a dream." She said shyly. Then he gazed into her eyes, moved close to her, and said: "I've been dreaming about you..." Then Katherine gasped .

"What happened in your dream...?" She asked him. Getting even closer while staring in her eyes he said "We realized we were soulmates..."

Katherine gasped, "Really...?" She said softly in amazement.

"Yea... Actually I have something for you..." He said.

"What...?! You don't even know me like that!" She said.

He smiled and pulled out a case and said: "Open it!" Then Katherine nervously opened the case, and saw the most beautiful necklace!

"Oh no... I can't accept this from you..." She said.

"It's yours... I believe your my soulmate so I'm suppose to give it to you once I've found you..."

"What...?!" Katherine asked confused.

"The story is, this necklace will unite true love...forever..."

"Yeah.., you don't believe that right?" Katherine laughed.

"Maybe. I mean... I'd like to at least chance it on who I believe is my soulmate, and you never know it might really happen." He smiled.

"So your picking lil ol me huh..." She asked flirting with him.

"I know it's you." He said in a serious tone. "The things we've been experiencing since we first saw each other isn't some coincidence." He told her.

" I don't know..." Katherine said.

"It's yours, Katherine.... Whether you put it on or not..." He said as he then moved close to her face, and softly kissed her on the cheek as she shivered in awe of him. Then he got up, and walked to his house leaving her speechless, and feeling like she was really falling in love with him.

"Oh my Gosh..." She said softly as she touched her face where he kissed her while looking at her beautiful gift, and at that moment she knew Angel had her heart...
