Harry’s POV
“You’ve got to stop showing such... admiration for Louis!” management says to me. They’ve warned me about this so many times... and trained Louis to tell everyone that him and I aren’t in a relationship... they’ve made me move out of Lou’s apartment, and now they even made my Louis date Eleanor. There isn’t even one “Eleanor.” There are multiple Calder girls that look very, very similar, so more public dates. She’s just a cover up! Management thinks that if Louis and I are in an open relationship that that’ll be bad for the band. It hurts me that I can’t be true to my fans. If they don’t like the true Harry, then okay, I never was true... but I know there’s real fans out there who will accept it. And a lot of them already believe that Larry is real so... at least we’ll have that fanbase.
“Okay...” I say. It didn’t come out as... brave...or believable as I’d hoped. I saw one guy whisper to another. A few nods and exchanged glances later... one man said to me, “Harry, you need a fake girlfriend. A cover up. Like Eleanor is to Louis.” I was raging. But what can I do? One direction has a contract with Modest... I can’t get out of it. Whatever they think I should do, I should probably do. I sighed. “Fine.” I say.
