The curtains rush open in a gust of wind,
Spotlights brighten from the stage within.
The music begins to play anew,
We dancers run onto stage dressed in blue.
Twirling and leaping in the air,
Dancing like nobody gives a care.
Everybody with their eyes on us,
Performing our best because we must.
The music begins to come to an end,
Final movements come together in a blend.
Performing the final pose,
In the ending of the dance we froze.
Applause erupts from the crowd below,
We run off the stage in a flow.
You perform only once, a single chance,
One shot to do your best and just dance.
