I was on my way to the cafeteria, but stopped in my tracks as soon as I heard you calling my name. The voice was obviously Craig, I hear his monotone voice almost everyday.
"Tweek!" he yells my name, no one seems to notice, though. I guess that's good.
I reply with a simple smile and nod, and accept his request for me to come sit next to him.
"Okay, guys. I think I should tell you something. It's not really secret, it's just a little admirer." Craig simply announces. He always speaks in a regular voice, just normal. Not monotone.
"Oooooh! Craig has a girlfriend! Craig has a girlfriend!" Clyde teases, only loud enough for our table to here. We sit in the very back corner, so no one can really bother us as much.
Craig flips him off, also replying with "You idiot, I mean someone likes me."
Clyde's smile quickly fades, then comes back even bigger. "Who! Who! Is it a girl or a guy?"
"I don't know." Craig takes the note out of his pocket and flicks it across the table with his pointer finger.
Clyde scans the note, passing it to Token, then me.
"It's obviously someone you know, dude. Then again, that's still pretty hard. You've lived in this town since you were born, and you obviously know every body here. Since they typed it and printed it, you can't tell who's writing it is because there is no writing. It's not a girl, it's a guy. (Ok no offence here right now) A girl would've probably drawn some hearts on the printed paper, and the ending would've most likely be 'technically I like really love you.'" Token simply states, ending the last part with air quotes.
"Tweek? What do you think?" Craig asked.
"Hm? Oh! I agree with Token. Everyone here knows you think every girl here is a slut, bitch, or a whore. Yet they would try to change your thinking, but most girls here just think you're a douche, asshole, or a badass kid. No offence."
"None taken." he replies.
"I have to go guys, I don't wanna be late to Math."
Everyone waves, and I go running through the doors and back to Craig's locker. I slip the note out of my pocket, and slipping it in. Then I make my way to Math.
'Hello, Craig. :)
I really hope you don't mind these, but I know you're going to tell them about me. That's perfectly fine.
I am someone you know good and well. You might even think of me as a brother.
These notes can be short and long, maybe not even come at all.
I hate you for not figuring it out already, but it's okay. Who could ever hate a person like you?!~~
~~Love you!'
