After a while of arguing, Drew and I finally decide on handing me the wheel. We found a gas station and quickly switched places, putting me in the drivers seat. I grip the wheel between my fingers and start to zone out.

"So first, let's stop at your house and check if she is there." Drew says quietly.

Shocked, I look at him worriedly. He's always been super loud and obnoxious. When he's quiet I know that there's something going on in his mind. I quickly agree and face forward. I attempt to start conversation a couple times, but he shuts down my advances. I decide to stare straight forward and try not to overthink things.

As we pull up to the apartment, Drew and I seem to breathe in heavily at the same time. I nudge him for his attention.

"If you want you can stay in the car and I can look for her." I say trying to look him in the eyes.

Finally he looks at me. "I'm fine. Just give me a moment."

Understanding, I get out of the car. "Okay." I say. "Just don't feel the need to come inside."

I walk towards my building. Looking around I notice that nobody seems to be here. No cars. Not even people walking their dogs. It creeps me out, I can feel my heart beating fast, if I had just ran a 5k.

But there's one thing I notice. One thing that is so out of place that I need to go look at it. It seems like a signed CD... my signed CD. Without picking it up I look a little closer and see that it's cracked. Incredibly annoyed I pick it up. Then Darkness.

"Ouch!" I exclaim. I guess I've fallen on my butt, and I've fallen hard.

I look around, to see where I am. I'm on the hardwood floor of my apartment.

Getting up, I stumble around. It's dark outside besides the bright white, full moon shining through the windows. It seems like it's morning considering the clock. Great... Have I been unconscious a whole day?

A door creaks open and the hallway lights turn on. Freezing I look at who it is.

Right in front of me was... me. But ugly me, morning me. With the morning hair and my pajama leg riding up.

Still frozen I don't move an inch. As in not to have attention drawn to me. Which was kind of impossible since I was standing in the middle of the living room in a ninja move. But she still doesn't see me as she brushes past me.

Morning me walks to the kitchen grudgingly to make some tea. I like coffee, but I don't have the skills to make it myself. So I just get some on the way to work.

"Brian! You want some tea!" Morning Me yells.

"'Course I don't!" He answers walking into the space. "I thought you would've learned to make coffee by now."

I throw him a glare and turn back around to prepare my tea.

Brian is my little brother. Honestly only younger by a year, but I still love to tease him about it. He's a complete ladykiller. I think he's even had a quick relationship with Xena.

"So..." He says behind me on one of my bar stools.

"So..." I repeat turning to him with my steaming mug in my hands.

Then I remember. This is this today's morning. The morning that I said bye, and Xena said goodbye to me.
