{Katie's P.O.V.}
The attack happened late at night. I managed to injure one squid before the commander mystiriously called for a retreat.
Today, we were headed to our regular parkour course. Kevin stopped me while Jacob and Susan walked ahead. "Katie, um, there's something I've been meaning to ask you..." he said. "Yeah?" I asked. "Well, I was wondering...." he paused. "Doyouwanttogooutwithme?" he asked quickly. "Huh?" I asked. He took a deep breath. "I said, do you want to go out with me? Like, on a date?" he asked.
I smiled. "Yes." I responded, throwing my arms around him. I kissed him and he kissed me back.
I was the first to pull away. "Umm.... we better catch up." I said. He nodded and began to walk. "Kevin?" I stopped him and he turned around. "I love you." I said. He smiled. "I love you too." he said.
