“We're getting married!” her best friend says.
“Congratulations!” she screamed while smiling, hiding the pain she felt.
She was too late. Too late to tell him how she loved him so much.
He was oblivious to the fact that his best friend was in love with him for years.
“Thank you for helping me propose to her. You're the best. I love you so much Lu.” he said, calling her by her nickname.
“I love you too, Ky.” she replied.
With those words, he'll never know that she meant it in a different way.
