After Mark complimented my drawing, for what seemed like the millionth time, we decided to play a game.
"Chutes and Ladders... or... CandyLand?" Mark asks, obviously trying to keep in laughter.
"Chutes and Ladders!" Ron exclaims, jumping up and down on the couch.
The amount of energy this kid had, you'd think he's had at least four RedBull.
We sit on the floor, hovering above the board, when Ron starts to pick out the characters.
"Mark, where's the other boy?" He asks, looking up and around the box.
"It should be in there." He replies, standing up. "Imma get popcorn, drinks?" He asks, looking at the both of us.
"Pepsi!" Ron calls.
"Whatever you're having should be okay." I smile. "Did you find the other player?" I ask, turning my attention to Ron.
He shakes his head in disappointment. "No. Now we have two girls, and one guy." He pouts.
"How about, you be the guy, and Mark and I can be the girls." I whisper to him.
He nods in agreement, and lets a giggle.
I smile, and we await to see Mark's reaction.
A few minutes pass, and he comes back with drinks and a big bowl of popcorn.
"Did you find the other boy?" He asks sitting down.
"No, but you don't mind being the girl. Do you?" I ask, trying not to laugh, as I hand him a little blonde player.
"But-"
I cock up an eyebrow, and he places his character on the board.
"Let the games begin!" I exclaim, laughing as Ron rolls the dice.
A few minutes of playing and I was ready to quit.
"This isn't fair!" I whine.
"It's completely fair." Mark says smugly.
"That's 'cause you're winning!" I exclaim, completely annoyed.
Since we had started playing, Mark kept getting all the ladders leading him up to the finishing point, and I had kept getting the slides, making me come back to the beginning.
Ron on the other hand, kept cheating, hoping we wouldn't see. Me and Mark brought it upon ourselves to let him cheat.
We're so kind.
I roll the dice, expecting a 4, to land me right on another slide, except I get a 6.
Making me get the biggest ladder, landing me two blocks away from victory.
I move my player, and sit back, feeling 'oh so amazing'.
"You totally cheated!" Mark exclaims.
"Just because you're losing, doesn't mean I cheated!" I chuckle.
"It means you could've!"
"Quit being a baby." I laugh, shoving him by the arm.
"OoOohh!!" Ron mocks Mark, laughing.
I simply laugh, and high five Ron.
"Oh, you are on!" He says, cracking his knuckles.
"Oh! I'm so scared!" I say mockingly putting my hands up in defense.
"You should be..." He says smirking. "It's your turn Ron." He says handing him the die.
He rolls, and up until it was my turn, me and Mark exchanged stupid faces.
I roll, and receive a three.
I move and land on the box that read 'Finished!'.
"I win!" I exclaim happily.
With that, Mark picks up my player and tosses her across the room.
"But, your player isn't even on the board." He says smugly.
"You just threw Mary!" I exclaim.
He moves player to the last block, but before he could set it down, I try and wrestle the piece out of his hands.
"Lemme win!" He grunts.
"You don't deserve to!" I say, triumphly grabbing the piece from him. "Ha!" I hold it up.
"Give Robin back!" He whines, holding his hand out.
I stuff 'Robin' into the pocket of my sweater, and cross my arms.
"We can take this the easy way... or the hard way..." He smirks.
"Watcha gonna do big guy? Fight me?" I snicker.
"In a way." He smirks deeper, and crawls towards me.
I scoot backwards and eventually hit the couch.
He grabs me the waist and lays me on the ground.
He begins to tickle my sides as I begin to laugh uncontrollably.
"So, the smart girl is ticklish?" He cocks up an eyebrow.
"Stop- Please-" I barley get out, between laughs.
He digs his fingers deep into my sides, and I try and kick him with my legs, when he holds them down and sits on my thighs.
For a moment I cringe, as his weight, hits my cuts, and they begin to burn.
He moves and sits on my waist, almost realizing my thighs hurt, and stops tickling me.
"Hand over Robin." He smirks.
"No." I laugh, crossing my arms.
"Fine." He shrugs, and with one hand, he takes my arms and holds them above my head and tickles me continuously with the other.
"Fine- Stop- Please!" I plead between laughing fits.
He stops when we see Ron make his way out of the bathroom.
When did he even get up?!
His eyes light up, and he gets excited.
"Tickle fight!" He yells, tackling Mark.
I sit, up and see Mark squirming under his brothers slightest touch.
I crawl over sit on Mark's waist, pinning him to the ground.
"So, the big guy is ticklish?" I mock him.
I stay seated as Ron tickles him, and breaks out into a laughing fit of his own.
As he calms himself down, he lets out a yawn, hoping I didn't notice.
"Go to bed short stuff. I'll take care of the big mean man." I snicker, as Mark attempts to catch his breath.
Ron gets up, and waddles into his room.
As soon as Ron is out of sight, I get taken down, and withing seconds, Mark is on top of me again.
"I told you to give me Robin." He says, almost threatening.
He tickles my sides and as I laugh he pins my hands above my head, and before I knew it, his lips were pressed against mine.
He slowly pulls apart, and looks me in the eyes.
"I couldn't wait 'till Monday." He whispers, smirking.
I just smile, as he leans in and kisses me again.
