The constant downfall of snow made it difficult to keep the barracks easy to access. A few soldiers were given the task to make sure nothing and nobody got snowed in. Almost everyone else was in the mess hall, possibly the warmest place due to body heat and the soup they were serving up.
Erwin was elsewhere, searching for Levi. A bit anxious about his whereabouts, his mind instantly went to Jaeger. He knew Levi would never do anything with another man, but that boy was persistent and didn't understand a simple no. His blood began to boil as he continued searching, looking in each barrack and every inch of the camp. Turning a corner, he found what he was searching for, luckily, not with Eren.
Levi sat on the ground, calm and collected as always. Well, at least whenever he was in public, that is. Looking up at Erwin, the slightest smile played at his lips, making him get up and dust the snow off wherever it landed while he sat there.
"I hope you realize how worried you make me sometimes." Erwin said it as if he was just giving orders as usual. He had to keep his guard up around the barracks. Anyone could show up at any time.
Levi looked away softly, letting out a soft 'tch.' "Commander, I hope you realize I'm a grown man and can take care of myself."
With that, Erwin studied him, noticing his nose was red and his lips had gained a tint of blue.
"Levi, we need to talk. Follow me." He began to walk away, knowing Levi wasn't going to follow that easily. "That's an order, Corporal."
Levi had known enough to realize Erwin figured out how long he was out there. He followed after him casually, wishing he had found a better hideaway. But then again, he didn't mind in the slightest.
