Just Friends

Chapter 1

I'm finally leaving New Jersey. I just graduated high school and I know I want to be a writer.

Wait, let me start with my name, Madison Silva, my few friends call me Maddie or Mads. I'm now 18 and I'm an only child. My mom and dad are only children too so my life was pretty lonely and boring. That's was I'm moving to LA ! With my bestfriend Aspin Dait. It's a weird last name I know but she couldn't choose :/ Anyway let me continue my story.

"Mad's you ready ?" My mom yelled from the bottom of the stairs.

"Yeah my bags are in the car I'll be down in a sec, wait in there if you want." I yelled putting my sweats and loose t shirt on. It was gonna be a 5 hour and 30 minute flight.

As I reached the bottom of the stairs my mom and Aspin were in the car. I sat in the passenger seat as we drove for about 15 minutes. As we reached the air port my mom practically pushed us out. She never loved me too much. I never knew why.

"Goodbye Julia !" Me and Aspin yelled. She never let me call her mom after 7th grade. I was 'too big' to call her that. I've never loved her since, to know such a thing, you loose the bit of love you have for that person.

"Come on we're gonna miss our flight." Aspin demanded breaking my train of thought. 

"Yeah, yeah." I said 'jumping' into the plane.

1 day later

We were looking for apartments and the only available one needed to have 4 people to equally pay rent, also cuz there was 4 bedrooms and 2 restrooms. We were the only 2 people we knew.

"Ugh might as well be homeless, or go back to NJ which we can't do." I said kicking a rock as the manager spoke to some people, I couldn't see who though.

"Ladies, I know this is a big step but these 2 gentlemen are looking for a place as well. I was thinking all 4 of you could move in together. They already agreed." The manager pointed to two guys, we didn't see there face.

"Hey. My name's Ethan." One said as he turned around.

"And my name's Grayson." The other one said. They put their hands out to shake them.

They were both so handsome but one caught my attention. I'm not sure what his name was since they said the same thing in unison. Twins I suppose. I went to shake the real handsome ones hand, he was wearing a grey shirt, white pants and black and white converse. I loved his style.

"Hey." I said looking straight in his hazel brown eyes.

"Hello." He did the same then broke the tension by asking us if we wanted a picture.

"What ? Why ?" I said in confusion scratching my head.

"Dude not everyone knows us calm down, if they knew us they would be fangirling and asking for pictures." One said nudging the other.

"No it's cool, we come from New Jersey so we don't know much about things here in LA." I said laughing a bit.

"Oh, no way ! So do we ! Well um let me introduce myself, my name's Grayson Dolan and me and my brother are famous-ish from Vine and YouTube." He said with a smirk looking down embareseed.

Grayson. He's so .... Calvin Klein model sexy looking. He's the one I have a small 'celebrity' crush on.

"Oh uh and my name's Ethan ... Dolan, of course." He said laughing nervously. "Well, do you guys wanna be our roommates ?" Ethan said nudging at Grayson in a friendly way this time.

"Um I would but I have to talk to my friend first." I said dragging Aspin over to the corner where they couldn't see us.

"Oh my gosh they're so hot !" Aspin whisper yelled. "Well, Ethan is... mostly him. Like a Calvin Klein model!"

"Are you kidding me ?? Grayson is obviously the hit one!" I said stomping my foot.

"Ok, the point is they're hot, and we're roommates with hot famous guys !" I squealed out and ran back agreeing to being roommates.

One day in LA and we are already having the best time!

"Awesome, roommate" Grayson smirked at me. I smirked back.

After we got everything unpacked me and Aspin went shopping for the apartment. Grayson gave me money to shop for him and me since he was filthy rich for a 17 year old. Ethan gave Aspin money to buy her and him stuff for the apartment as well.

"Sucks they're only 17, we were born a bit too early." I said laughing as we entered a both genders store.

"Yah, but if we are all gonna be roommates we need to be friends and only that." Aspin proved a point and I shrugged as an agreement.

"Ooh, you think they would like a neutral theme for the apartment ?" I said pointing to a plain grey and white living room decor.

"Ooh, wait let me call Ethan." She said pulling out her phone.

A while later she hung up saying they both liked the theme.

After what seemed like a year we left the mall with our hands and carts stuffed. We had to call Grayson and Ethan to help.

We cleaned, painted, and finally decorated our pretty big apartment for atleast 1 week. After it was done the twins went on tour for a week leaving the place to us. We didn't do much but talk about how we can't date or even like the twins since we were gonna be roommates. For a long time too.

When the twins got back they brought us a gift from Canada along with snacks for all of us since we decided it was gonna be movie night on Sunday and maybe even Wednesday if we have enough time and movies. I loved my new life so much.
