The Golden Time

[Leavers Ball]

They arrived at the hotel right before the opening prayer so they still made it.
They look for their names in every table.
They found their tables and sit for a while, chat with other graduates.

*Announcement*
"You can now start the Dinner. Please go to the buffet table properly."

The graduates started to go to the buffet table maintaining the queue.
Denise stayed in her table after hearing the announcement.
"Aren't you gonna get your meal?"
"Thanks. I'll go get later." Denise replied.

As most people got their food and are coming back to their respective tables, Maine saw Denise in her table, still not yet having her meal.
"Denise! What are you doing? Aren't you gonna eat?!" Maine said.
"Of course I'm going to eat. I just don't want to stand for so long, killing the queue." Denise replied.
"Fine, we'll go there in five minutes. It should be better by then." Maine said sitting beside Denise.
"Girls! What are you waiting for?" A girl said
They turned around and got surprised.
"Jen!" They said.
"Oh my God. Congratulations Jen!" Maine said standing up to give her friend a hug.
"Congratulations Jen." Denise said.
"Congratulations too Denise. And of course to all of us." Jen said.
"Good thing you're here, I thought you'll be spending time with your family, having your own private party." Maine said.
"Why is that? Are you nuts?! Jen said laughing hardly.
"Well of course, you're the valedictorian after all." Maine replied.
"Yeah. First thing first. This is one of the most important for every high school student. There's no way I'm gonna miss this." Jen said.
"Yeah. Jen is right. Don't miss every once in a life time happenings in your life." Denise said.
"Okay fine. Two honour students, even though I am not... I'm still Maine, your friend. Don't forget to put my name on your list for your private party." Maine said laughing so hard.
The two looked at each other feeling funny but then, they both reply "Sure!"
"Anyway girls, the line is almost gone, we can go get our food, I'm starting to feel hungry." Jen said.
"Yeah me too." Denise said.
They walked to the buffet table chatting and laughing.

"Nice... I like everything they are serving tonight. I wonder which one I'm gonna eat first... Hmmm." Chad's mind.
"Hey bro! Congratulations. You're the boy's representative!" A guy said laughing so hard.
"Yeah. Thanks!" Chad said giving him a high five.
Followed by 3 more guys congratulating him, with their hands asking for a high five.
He gave them all a high five... "Thanks! Thanks! Thanks!" Chad said.
"Alright bro, see you around. Let's enjoy the party!" A guy said.
"Yeah yeah. See you" Chad replied.
So he chose a food he will eat as 'first set' quickly, and go back to his table.
Walking to his table, he glanced at the end of the queue, and unexpectedly saw the three walking towards the buffet table to queue up.
As he returned to his table, he start eating, he keeps checking on Denise.
He wants to know where her table is, so that it will be easy for him to look for her later on.

Denise went back to her table and finally enjoyed her meal after the long wait.
Chad went to the buffet table for his 'second set'. Seems enjoying the food so much.

*ten minutes later*
Most students are already finished with their dinner and just chatting with each other. Chad is almost finish with his 'second set', looks like there is another set for him.

*Announcement*
"The dance floor is now open. Let's get grooving!"

*Music changes to party song*

"Congratulations everyone! Enjoy the party!!!"

Students come to the dance floor in group.
Dancing, laughing, dancing...
Clearly everyone is having so much fun for their last night being in high school.
Denise went with Maine and Jen as usual.
They dance cheerfully, and take a groupie while on the dance floor.
