"I do" Luke said and the crowd aplauded and cheared. This was the start of a great new life. A great new life that I could spend with Luke. We walked back down the isle with white and red rose pedals being thrown ever so elagently over us. Black cars with white ribbon on the front of them were waiting for us. "Ready for your surprise now?" I asked Luke.
"Yeah what is it?"
"Well you know how you said you wanted to go on a honeymoon but we couldn't afford it," I took a break and breathed. "We are now going to Italy"
"What how, we havn't packed bags or anything. Wait how did you get the money?"
"Our parent chipped for part of our wedding present, and don't worry I packed your bag for you"
"Oh...kay.." He said worried
"What? I'm not that bad at packing bags am I" I was actually quite curious.
"Oh no, of course not"
"Don't worry we will have a great time." I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. I was going to Italy, I had the dream wedding and an amazing ring with a supporting family and wonderful husband. Seriously how could this day get any better?
"Oh and that reminds me.." Luke said as he pulled out a card and small present.
The card read: Dear Poppy, I am so thrilled to spend the rest of my life with you. Please take these and wear them proudly. They look almost as beautiful as you. :) Love from Luke. (Hopefully this covers for Valentines day too.)
This is beautiful. One of the treasures I will keep with me until I am old and grey. I opened the box. The most beautiful pair of diamond earings lay in from of me.
"Oh Luke. You shouldn't have" I said in awe
"Yes I should have" He said sweetly. He leaned in and kissed me.
