One

Firstly I'm going to tell you a bit a bout myself, I'm Brooke Kennedy and I'm from Atlanta Georgia but I moved to Kings County at the age of nine with my mom and my brother Tommy who was eleven due to my mom meeting and starting a relationship with a man called Greg.
My home life before the move was hard, growing up for any kid is hard but living with the fighting and screaming from your mom and dad is upsetting, I remember seeing the clock hit 6:00 clock and I'd sit outside and I'd wait for my dad to arrive home greeting him in a hug and then me and Tommy would retreat upstairs as my mom would instantly start an argument with my dad.
My dad tried to stay and get along with my mom for the sake of me and Tommy but he was at breaking point.

I remember the day that I come home from school seeing my dad was home from work early and he was loading his car with suitcases
I thought we was going on vacation but my dad explained that he was moving out as he couldn't live with the arguments anymore and that my mom had told my dad that she was seeing another man and he couldn't stay.
I begged my dad for him to take me with him but he told me that I was better of with my mom as she could care for me better.
I still remember how upset I felt when my dad kissed me goodbye and got in his car and reversed down the driveway I chased after him screaming for him but he didn't stop, Tommy walked me back to the house telling me that we would still see dad just not everyday.
And we did for a few months till my mom and Greg moved us to Kings County.

Moving there was a nightmare I had left everything behind and it was a new start for me I had to go to a new school and make new friends which I struggled with doing in the first place.

I eventually made friends at school and as the years went on I became more defiant towards my mom, I blamed her for everything, don't get me wrong she was my mom and I cared about her but I didn't like her, I blamed her for dad leaving, for us moving and I acted out not just at home but at school.
I used to get into fights or I'd never turn up and I'd hang out with friends that I talked into skipping school with me.
We would go to the mall and shop lift and smoke and get drunk.

By starting a new life in Kings County I didn't just end up with a new home and a new school i ended up with a new family member a sister well step sister she was the same age as Tommy, she was called Delancey, she was okay we had our up and downs like any siblings did.

I ended up graduating school and decided to study hairdressing at a local college to my mom and step dads surprise as my mom thought I'd do nothing with my life as I was a awkward little cow with a major attitude problem according to her anyway.

Well I told you all a little about my messed up family life, now it's time to tell you my story of ups and downs and how the world changed and about the guys who changed my world and the one particular guy I fell totally head over heels for, the man everyone will know as officer friendly, Rick Grimes.
