After pissing I went to the running tracks to find Jayden since we both had a free period. I ran up the steps of the white and blue bleachers to where he was sitting, scrolling through his Instagram feed on his shitty samsung phone. It consisted mainly of hot selfies from supermodels and pornstars.
"Fancy seeing you here." I purred. He rolled his eyes, not looking up from his phone."Guess who I have just had a lesson with?" I said with a crooked grin.
"Crystal Ketch?" He said, looking up hopefully.
Crystal Ketch has been rated the most beautiful girl in our year by many; she is tall and willowy with long fair hair, the colour of sunlit snow. Her eyes are a bright blue and her figure is every teenage boy's dream. Her twin brother is also on the highest level of perfection. Clarke Ketch has the same watery sapphires for eyes, the same plump lips and white hair, only his jaw line is more square and masculine and his body is every teenage girl's dream. I'm being heteronormative here, by the way. He doesn't go to our school though, he goes to The Juilliard School in New York, so nobody that we know has ever seen him other than occasional glimpses in the holidays. I dated Crystal Ketch for a few weeks last year. Although, her looks are out of this world, and that is coming from me, Adam Larkin, her personality is somewhat average. We didn't have much to talk about, other than her brother, who is one of the few mysteries I have yet to discover. So, after having sex a couple of times, I ended things. I think she hates me now, something about me being the first boy she had ever had proper feelings for. I don't really care though. She just doesn't have that spark.
"No. Not Crystal. I haven't actually talked to her for a while..." I said bluntly."You are mad, Adam."
"Anyway! Come on, you've got one more guess." I said, excitedly, pushing out thoughts of Crystal from my mind since something about her still made me feel rather uncomfortable and closed in.
"Just tell me!""Okay...so, you know my new challenge?" I said and he rolled his dark, almond shaped eyes.
"I should have known..."
"Yes, Archie Turner! He still hasn't submitted to my charms!"
"Harper will find that hilarious." He said, smiling to himself."Oh shut up." I said, shoving him. "The problem isn't me; It's him!"
"Sure it is, Adam. Whatever you say!" He zipped up his blue hoodie as a soft breeze swept across the field. "What do you think of what Harper was wearing today? That grey dress?" He added, looking out across the tracks. I followed his gaze, which rested on Harper, a tiny dyed blonde speck in the distance. She was chatting to another girl, while making an effort to avoid having to join in the baseball game. I rolled my eyes."She looked fine. You're starting to sound gayer than me! Anyway, as I was saying! I made Miss Saddler, the one with the big tits, move me next to him! Then I did this sort of epic political speech which wowed him...so, I think I am on my way to getting some Archie lovin'" I said with a wink.
"Harper's sport shorts are shorter than most of the other girl's." He said, still focused on the baseball game.
"Stop watching the baseball and focus on my story, dipshit."
"Oh, right, yeah. Sorry, you were saying...about how much you love this Archie kid?"
"I do not love this kid. What the fuck! I hardly know him. I am playing him!"
"Yeah yeah, because Adam Larkin doesn't love." He scoffed."Fuck off."
"You didn't even fall for Crystal Ketch!" He exclaimed.
"Yeah, well she was dull and I don't like feeling hemmed in. Plus, you can hardly talk! Who, out of the girls you've dated have you ever had strong feelings for!?" I retorted. He went quiet, looking out across the track as he played with his Deadpool phone case in his lap.
