Chapter 19

SANS POV

Demon just teleported away. That's pretty unexpected. I would've expected her to kill me. Surprisingly, she didn't. What could've made her not kill me? Comic slowly got up from the floor. "She didn't kill you?" She asked incredulously. I felt just as stunned. "But where did she go?" Comic asked. I said nothing, just teleported away to try and find Demon. I first tried the forest, Snowdin, and my house. I then thought of where she would have gone. Of course! The secret room at Waterfall. 

I teleported there and found Demon in the corner, with her head in her arms. The room was filled with white and black smoke. She seemed to be in pain. I walked over to her. She raised her head. White and black tears streaked her face and her eyes blazed. This reminded me of me. She had the same anguished look. Empathy filled me. She saw me and backed up into the corner. "No! No! It's all right, you'll be all right." I said soothingly. I hugged her. She suddenly tensed up. Her eyes flickered to black and back again.

She pushed me away. "Go! Leave! I don't want to hurt you or Papyrus or anybody else!" She screamed. I stared at her, confused. Then it dawned on me. She was fighting the dark in her head, keeping it from attacking me. "I can't let you fight this battle by yourself!" I said. "You have to. I can't let you get hurt." She said. "So go! Now!" She screamed. I very reluctantly turned away and teleported away.

So. Demon managed to not kill Sans. How interesting. I will keep an eye on her.
