When I wake up it's 7:30 in the morning great first day of school and I'm going to be late since my classes begin at 8:15 so I directly wear my favorite blue shirt and a pair of ripped jeans after taking a quick shower then I finally dry my hair I do some curls and take my phone and rush to... Wait I have no one to take me to school but as I arrive to the door I find Bruce waiting could he be waiting for me noooo impossible
"What took you so long? "He asks
"What? "
"Come on we are going to be late"

"Yes I'm taking you to school now lets go". During the ride he asks me about my schedule and it turns out that I have practically all my classes with him except for Math wow amazing great it's even worst going to a human school right I wish I'd go to a wolf school. Mate mate.my wolf Stella screams

Oh no great this is the worst thing that could possibly happen
When we finally arrive all the kids are starring at me I mean okay Bruce took me to school wow amazing but then Stephanie comes and grabs me by the hand
"You came with Bruce. "She says
"Well this isn't the most important thing right now"

"Right right". And he grabs my hand as he pulls me to class

"Isn't it obvious I'm taking you to class"

"Ohhh sorry "
"No... No it's okay". (Wait did I just say that really) "I mean...."
"No no it's fine"
As class goes by I take quick looks of Bruce who is all the time starring at me
"Are you alright"
"What do you mean"
"You're staring at me all the time"
"Oh sorry". What is he hiding it's as if he's obliged or something
When the bell rang we were heading to our next class together and he told me he need to talk to his dad so he goes to the toilet since we are not allowed to get our phones to school but when he comes back something in him changed he starts ignoring me and goes to class by himself ,okay what is wrong with this guy
Bruce's POV
When I talked with my dad and told him that I found my mate and that she is a human ( Bruce is also a wolf) he told me a real story that once happened about a wolf that was mated to a human and the human ended up dead for some reason because of the wolf and I would never want to do that to Scarlett so my dad told me that I need to back off even if it is hard but it is for her own good so when I get out of the bathroom I decide to start ignoring Scarlett to protect her even if it is hard for me but I have to. So during all our next classes I don't look at her I don't sit next to her and I avoid her at lunch and it is so hard it's as if I'm being cut in half. At dinner I decide to eat in my room and I'm sure that made her heartbroken since because of the bond I'm feeling her feelings.
Scarlett POV
During lunch I decide to talk to Stephanie about all this and she is as shocked as I am so she tells me to take it slow maybe he needs time or something time for what. Also during dinner he brakes his father's rule and eats in his room why is he doing this for some kind of reason after dinner I go to my room and I start crying I don't know why but his actions are really hurting me I feel heartbroken so I decide to text my mom to ask her what to do.
Hi mom look I found my mate and at first he was being kind and all then he started ignoring me
Wait you found your mate who is he
Bruce
What that's amazing except for the part him ignoring you wait is he a human
I think why
Well I don't think so why don't you ask him
Ask him mom what if he is human he will think I'm crazy
Well he's your mate he will find out one day
Mom what are you hiding. Maybe you're right tomorrow first thing in the morning I'll go to ask him that's if he doesn't go early to school
I am not hiding anything and He won't don't worry now goodnight sweetheart and your dad sends you his kisses

Mom is right tomorrow I'll wake up early 5:30 and I'll ask him sooner or later he will know about me and I'll have to face it ,now is better than never let me just set the alarm and I'm ready to go to sleep.
